Short story thirteen

Flying ducks

There are two ugly ducklings in the reed pond, one of the black duck kept flapping wings to fly. It flew up and fell down, and was bruised all over. White duck says, "Don't fly, we are ducks."

One day, the black duck finally flies in the sky, and the white duck's wings have long been atrophied. The white duck says to the same kind: "you see, that can only fly duck is my companion."

The others laughed, "You're crazy, that's a black swan."

The Bible says, "Whatever you do, do it with all your might. Never yield in spite of reverses, go all out to do one thing, you will reap the fruits of success. Human happiness consists in forging ahead along one's own path and doing one's best to reach the final goal. Life always provides space for persistent people to strive. People who persevere and never stop are often the final winners.

Short story 14

Retreat and attack

A Wolf met a sheep on the road. "I will eat you," said the Wolf.

"Mr. Wolf, you are going to eat me. I can't help it. I warn you, though, that I am by no means an ordinary limp sheep. I am strong enough to defeat a bull. If you don't believe me, you can let me try."

The Wolf would not believe this, so he found a strong bull and set him to fight with the sheep. To prevent the sheep from running away, the Wolf shut the sheep and the cow in a room and waited outside the door.

At first the Wolf at the door heard a loud thumping sound coming from inside. Then the sound became fainter and at last there was no sound at all.

"Ha ha! The boastful sheep must be gored to death. It's my turn to taste the delicious food!" "Said the Wolf, opening the door to see how the sheep looked. However, it was not the big, strong ox that strutted out of the door, but the small, thin sheep!

And the cow? It was lying in the room with its horns broken off and blood all over its head.

The Wolf was surprised, "By God, how that strange sheep has beaten you so badly!" .

"Well, the truth is, I was defeated by my own brute strength. Every time I lunged at the sheep with all my strength, it flashed nimbly, and the easier IT was for me to bump into myself. As for him, the more he hid the more dexterous, the more he retreated the more proud. I was wounded in his triumph and in my fury." The cow told the Wolf honestly.

"Oh, cunning sheep! He's attacking by retreating. I must catch him fast!"

The Wolf went out to look for the sheep, but where could he find them?

The sheep that retreated became the winner in this contest. In action, a temporary retreat is sometimes the best option and the most effective attack.

Short story 15

The porcupine distance

A herd of porcupines huddle together for warmth on a cold winter's day. But their bristles began to stab each other and they had to disperse. But the cold drove them together again, and the same thing happened. In the end, after many encounters, they found it best to keep a proper distance from each other.

The relationship between people, like a group of hedgehogs, needs to keep a peaceful distance. Human nature also carries thorns, and we should keep a certain distance from each other in our communication, neither stabbing nor being stung. The relationship between people is so delicate, can not be too close, and can not be too distant; They should depend on each other and maintain their relative independence. Both cooperation and division of labor.

Short story 16

The cold bird

In the ancient virgin forest, the sun is shining brightly, birds are singing happily and working hard. One of them, with his fine plumage and loud voice, was wandering about showing off. It laughs at the hard work of others. The good bird reminded him, "Cold bird, build a nest quickly! How else will winter come?"

"Winter is still early," said the cold bird contemptuously. "What's the hurry? Have fun while you can!"

And so, day after day, winter was coming. The birds rest peacefully in their warm nests at night, while the cold bird, shivering in the cold wind at night, laments the past and cries out for the future with a beautiful voice: "Shake it down, shake it down, the cold wind will freeze me to death, and tomorrow I will build my nest."

The next day the sun came out and everything woke up. The cold bird felt very proud and forgot all about the pain of the previous night and sang happily again.

Some birds advised him: "Build a nest quickly! Or I shall tremble again at night."

The cold bird laughed at him and said, "You can't enjoy it."

Evening came again, and the cold bird repeated the same story. One night, the snow fell suddenly. The birds wonder why the cold birds don't start chirping anymore. As soon as the sun came out, everyone looked for it and found that the cold bird had frozen to death.

How important "today" is in one's life. Seize this day and you can become who you are. He who hopes for tomorrow accomplishes nothing. By tomorrow, the day after tomorrow will be tomorrow. Today you put things off to tomorrow, tomorrow you put things off to the day after tomorrow. Again and again, and it never ends. Only those who know how to make use of today will breed the hopes of tomorrow on the foundation stones of successful business created by today.
