The strong mountain winds were pushing her back, but she kept going up the mountain. It was a tough climb, she was determined and needed to reach the small settlement at the top. This was an isolated part of the world in Tibet, where no one had been for over a hundred years. Veronica needed to meet the people, if there were any still alive on this mountain top.

It was now a week since she had left base camp with her team of five people, that consisted of two guides and three scientists, who had wanted to join her on this expedition. Veronica was one of the many participants in the Scribe World competition. She was a trained anthropologist and a lecturer in a university.

Their climb up the uneven terrain was getting more and more difficult. There was a sudden sound of rocks falling off the mountain. It was a landslide, Veronica and the team had nowhere to hide. “Team, get cover” screamed Veronica, she doubted if she would be heard above the thunderous rock slide. The landslide stopped; one man was injured. The climb continued slowly but surely.

When Veronica reached the top of the plateau mountain, there was just an abandoned settlement, that looked like a ghost town. As she went to inspect the huts, she found strange extra-terrestrial hieroglyphics on the walls and on the floors. Were the inhabitants abducted by aliens? Veronica still had a story to tell the world. She created a short film on the history of the people of the lost world on the mountain in Tibet. Veronica would submit her entry for the A-I augmented reality storytelling game to win the ultimate prize of Scribe.

The rules for the Scribe World competition were simple, the person who would win the contest, would be the person who presented the best A-I augmented reality immersive story. The winner of the competition would receive the first ever award of “Scribe” and a ticket to visit the first human settlement on Mars. It would also be the choice of the winner to live on the red planet, as he or she would receive 50 million dollars, to spend on whatever they wanted.

Aaron was getting ready to set sail on the open seas to discover a rare occurrence in the Pacific Ocean, the appearance of a rare sea creature. Aaron was a trained oceanographer and entering the Scribe World competition was exactly what he needed at this moment in his life, after he lost his wife and son in a car crash.

The ship was ready to set sail and Aaron looked at his crew of young divers, two men and one girl. Accompanying him was his best friend Dan and Captain of the vessel. Fred was Dan’s twelve-year-old son, who was also learning his way on the boat and he was the captain’s first-mate.

It was now four days since Aaron and his team had set sail. They had enough provisions for two weeks, so everything was looking good. The weather was great and so was the company.

“Time for us to start on the dives,” said Aaron to Dan.

“Divers, get ready, time to take the plunge, in another twenty minutes,” said Dan, to the three young people who were relaxing on deck-chairs. They got up and started to get their equipment and outfits together for the dive and reconnaissance of the underwater area, where the sea creature was last sighted.

In half an hour, the three divers went into the ocean. Aaron followed the divers in the waters, on his computer screens as they kept going into the depths of the ocean. Everything looked normal enough, there were fish of all shapes, colours and sizes coming into view, lazily swimming past the divers. There were a lot of strange underwater plants waving tendrils as the divers swam past. There was nothing unusual to report on that day.

The next day, Aaron guided the divers through areas they had previously missed in their survey of the ocean. The ocean was too deep for the divers to go too far down. The divers had spotted strange luminous signs like hieroglyphics on the rocks and cave openings in the ocean depths. They were about to come up to the surface, when the lines snapped and the camera feed stopped. The divers did not come up to the surface and Aaron and Dan were desperate to have them found. The coast guards were called in but it was hopeless, the three divers had disappeared without a trace.

Aaron and his crew had to give up the search. All Aaron had was the video footage of the luminous writings on rocks and cave openings that were filmed by the three divers. He prepared his entry for the Scribe World augmented reality artificially intelligent generated game, complete the information and theories, including the strange sea creature with a long glowing body and a luminous head that was sighted by several fishermen on the coastal villages.

In another part of the world, In Russia, Jeremy was ready to go into the centre of the Earth to record some strange underground inscriptions found in caves deep within the Earth in Siberia. The caves were discovered a few months ago by a small group of cave explorers. There was a team of four who went down to the caves, two men lost their lives in an accident and only two returned to the surface.

The strange thing about the two men who returned from the underground caves, was that for two full weeks, they were in a comatose state, during which they babbled in a strange language. After they awoke from their slumber, the men did not recall what they saw or how the accident occurred. The text in the caves was the only evidence they had about the existence of the cave inscriptions. A month ago, one of the men, started to write in a strange language, a total of 800 pages of extra-terrestrial looking scripts.

When Jeremy and his team went down into the caves, he found the strange markings on the walls of the caves. Jeremy recorded all the walls as he tried to decipher the hieroglyphics. A few of the marking seemed to resemble the 800-page manuscript written by one of the explorers a month ago. Jeremy knew that his entry was going to be an unusual one. He compiled the videos of the caves, and attached the extra-terrestrial manuscript written by the cave explorer.

Logan was the game developer for Scribe World. He created this artificially intelligent augmented reality simulated game based on a surreal experience he had as a teenager. Logan was seventeen, he was an autistic child and as a teenager he had difficulty making friends and understanding the behaviour of people. Logan loved reading and writing stories. It was only when he was in teens that he studied and got involved with programming, immersive reality and working with artificial intelligence.

The world of augmented reality and artificial intelligence, was a whole new dimension for the young man who had a brilliant mind. This new field of discovery was just the stimulation his hungry mind craved for in life. He wanted to find a way in which he could unify the stories of mankind into an augmented immersive reality game.

When Logan was seventeen, he visited his grandparents who lived close to a wooded area. It was during one of his jaunts through the woods, where he loved to do sketching of flora and fauna, that he had an unusual experience. It was about midday, when Logan was sketching a rabbit in the bushes, when he felt a strange presence in the woods. It felt like he was being watched. He turned his head around to see a luminous face with a long white transparent body, like an energy spirit watching him. That was the last thing that the teenager remembered. When Logan awoke, he was back at home, on his bed, fully clothed. Logan could not believe what had happened, it was as if he had been teleported from the woods to his bedroom. No one would believe what he had seen, so there was no point in telling his parents and his siblings about it.

The Scribe World game was developed to use all the data that was to be entered into the system, to name the Scribe, the one person who could master and rule Scribe World. Logan watched the entries coming in for Scribe World. The big announcement for the Winner of Scribe World was two days away. Who would be appointed Scribe champion?

One evening as Logan was looking at the 800-page manuscript written by one of the explorers in a strange script, he seemed to spot a key. He quickly took out a note pad and started to make notes. It was suddenly starting to make sense, from the human population that disappeared in Tibet, to the three divers who disappeared in the ocean, and the 800-page hieroglyphics document. Even the strange energy figure he had spotted in the woods as a teenager now fitted the puzzle.

The day of the results had arrived. The world was waiting for the announcement of the Scribe of Scribe World. Millions of players had entered the Realm of Scribe World. The time for the big announcement arrived, and there was no clear winner.

Logan was puzzled, there was something missing in the game. He looked at his notes and decided that the information needed to be added to Scribe World so that the Key to Unlocking the 800-page document, along with all the videos and stories entered would make sense and reveal the winning Scribe.

After an hour of the A-I immersive augmented reality system processing the information with the help of the key, the Scribe of Scribe World was announced. The Scribe of Scribe World was Logan the developer of the Scribe World Game.

The Scribe was the only person who had deciphered the meaning of the stories and it was that the future of a new humanity was coming over the horizon. With the help of alien technology, artificial intelligence and augmented reality, Scribe World was the database and oracle for the dawn of a new evolved human civilization. This augmented reality game saw the future of mankind, and it was to be led by the Scribe, the chosen one, for the future of an advanced human race of Man and Woman.
