The most well-known ghost at the Myrtles is said to be Chloe, a former slave girl who was put to death for poisoning her master's family and is said to haunt the estate.

The screaming skull at Burton Agnes Hall: According to legend, Anne Griffith's skull, who once lived at Burton Agnes Hall in East Yorkshire, England, will not leave the estate. It is stated that until the skull is placed back where it belongs, anyone who attempts to remove it will be cursed with bad luck.

The Haunted Doll Annabelle: The original Annabelle doll, made famous by the "Conjuring" film series, is kept in the Warrens' Occult Museum in Connecticut. The doll is said to be haunted by the soul of a little girl named Annabelle Higgins and to have caused many paranormal events.

The Ghosts of Gettysburg: It is said that soldiers who died in the Civil War haunt the battlefield of Gettysburg, Pennsylvania, which saw one of the deadliest engagements of the war.
