Mystery Dad part 2

Sarah picked up her Auntie Leola from the airport. They hugged and greeted each other.

“ Is your Pop here ,yet?” Sarah auntie asked.

“No, he is driving and he will be here by tomorrow afternoon.” Sarah answered.

Sarah got a few things together that need to be taken care of before the wedding.

Sarah took a shower at six and got ready .

Auntie Leola was ready for dinner by 6:30pm.

Robert arrived in his 2001 Catera, Cadillac at 6:45.

Robert is a manager at the local Delphi Company.

Sarah plans on selling her condo after the Wedding.

She will be moving into Robert's townhouse.

They went to the local Red Lobster Restaurant.

Auntie Leola asked a bunch of questions to Robert.

She wanted to make sure her niece will be happy and well taken care of.

Day before the Wedding:

Sarah took two weeks off from work for wedding and honeymoon.

Sarah Pops arrived at 10am in the morning. Sarah and her Auntie was

Having breakfast that Sarah cooked.

Sarah Pops called to say he was at her driveway parking lot.

Sarah answered the door and let her Pops in, holding her arms out for a hug.

Gibbs ignores the gesture.

Auntie Leola notice the sad dejected look on Sarah face before she try to cover it with a smile. Auntie Leola decides it's time , she tells Sarah about her Pops before the wedding.

Gibbs greeted his sister and asked where his room was so he could bring in his luggage.

Sarah prepared the finished basement for her Pops. There was a big screen TV down there with a Sofa queen size bed. Gibbs was not happy about that. He was angry and fuming.

“ Why! I have to get the basement room? Why can't your auntie stay in the basement?”

Sarah made a big mistake by responding, “ Auntie Leola arrived first.”

“ I am your father, I should get the first pick. “ Gibbs shouted at his daughter with disapproval.

“ Auntie Leola is already settled in the spare bedroom.” Sarah said with finality.

The whole day Gibbs complained about getting the basement spare room.

Rehearsal Dinner:

All the Wedding party and family were at the wedding rehearsal dinner. Robert's parents were hosting the dinner at their house. Sarah was getting very anxious and she warned Robert about her father. Robert is always hugging Sarah. Robert told Sarah he loves her no matter what and gave her a sweet kiss. She felt a lot better.

Sarah welcome all her friends and family with Robert. Robert’s parents , Mary and Mike, had tables set up in the backyard. Sarah already introduced her mom to Roberts’s parents.

“ Mom and Dad this is my Pops Gibbs and Auntie Leola” Sarah introduced everyone.

“ Mom and Dad? I am your Pops and your mother is over there! “ Gibbs shouted .

Sarah explain calmly to her Pops, “ Mary and Mike requested that I call them mom and dad.”

“ That's not acceptable and just like you having me sleep in the basement, I am your father.” Gibbs was getting more upset by the minute.

Sarah’s mom ,Peneng, left the dinner early and made an excuse that she had a headache.

Sarah did not know her mom , Peneng was having a panic attack every time she heard her Pops shouting.

Mary and Mike were very good hosts.

Robert and Sarah went around and spoke to everyone at the dinner making sure everyone was having a good time. Everyone was asking Sarah if she would be alright . They told her they are glad she is marrying a nice guy like Robert. Robert asked Sarah if she wanted him to drive her home. She declined the offer knowing it would set her father off, again into an angry tantrum.

The Dinner ended and Sarah and her auntie helped out with the clean up before leaving.

“ Hurry up, I am getting tired .” Gibbs shouted at Sarah and her aunt.

They got back to the Condo and Gibbs complained again about having to sleep in the basement.

Robert called Sarah to make sure she was okay. Robert seems to know what to say to make her feel better.

Auntie Leila asked Sarah to come to her room.

Sarah lay down next to aunt, who gave her a loving hug and told her she is proud of her.

“ The reason your Pops is the way he is , he has a Multi personality disorder. He will be on his best behavior tomorrow, I promised you.”Her aunt told her.

“Something really bad happened when he was a teenager , he won't admit it ever happened .He has been a different person since.”

Sarah called her mom to check up on her before she went to bed herself. .” How are you feeling, Mommy.”

“ Much better, I did not want you to see this side of your Pops, that's the reason I left him .”

Peneng told her daughter.

“ I made sure your Auntie Leila took care of you, when you visited your Father.”

Wedding Day:

The Wedding was a dream wedding . Everyone was enjoying the beautiful celebration of two people who are in love.

That was the last day Sarah spoke to her father. Sarah still visited her auntie but now with her husband.
