It was a cool, crisp morning when Milka woke up. She was purring loudly like a car engine and was curled up in a ball beside Ms.Robins. She felt her owner's long fingers stroke her soft, black fur as she opened her mouth and yawned like a lion.

"It's colder today, isn't it?" Ms.Robins asked as she stood up and looked outside the window. "Milka! It's snowing!" She yelled excitedly, making Milka jump out of the armchair.

Ms.Robins opened the garden door and put her thick, white boots on. Milka was apprehensive to step outside. She looked around, only to see everything covered in a blanket of white, soft snow. The tall, thin trees had no leaves, but only white dust on their branches. White dust was falling from the sky, making Milka jump when something small and white landed on her pink nose. It was a snowflake. This was not her ordinary garden that was once vibrant and full of life. Instead, it was dull and quiet.

She pressed her first paw on the snow. It was cold and watery, which was something she was not used to. As she continued to walk in the snow, she saw that she left a trail of her paw prints behind. She was confused, and couldn't understand why this was happening. Milka ran around and leaped into a big pile of snow. She felt the small, cold snowflakes cling onto her fur, and quickly shook them off. Milka didn't enjoy the snow.
