Andrew looks down upon his wife as she lays exhausted in her bed. Tired from the miracle she has performed in the last twenty hours — the birth of their wonderful baby boy.

He smiles lovingly as he kisses her gently. “I’m so proud of you sweetheart for giving me this precious boy. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.”

Kelly smiles adoringly at her husband. “What should we name him?”

Andrew ponders the question, “Let’s hold off on an official name, shall we? Let him choose when his name is leaked to the worldwide web. Once online, forever online.”

This drabble has been written as part of the daily Drabble Drop challenge and today's random word, that must be included in the drabble, is 'baby'.

Wikipedia defines a drabble as follows :

A drabble is a short work of fiction of precisely one hundred words in length. The purpose of the drabble is brevity, testing the author's ability to express interesting and meaningful idea in a confined space.

My first love is poetry — it’s like a desperate need to write, to free up space in my mind, to escape the constant noise in my head. Most of the time the poems write themselves — I’m just the conduit holding the metaphorical pen.

"Let him choose when his name is leaked to the worldwide web. Once online, forever online.” I'm sorry, I don't get what he meant by this 😅😅
