Jason R. Morton sadly passed away yesterday at the age of 324. As one of the founding fathers of Globadyne Industries, Jason founded the company with his longtime companion and business partner, Sharice Brouliett. The two were shrewd entrepreneurs, opening up several businesses, and building a legacy that lasted the past 274 years. As a media mogul, telecommunications mogul, entertainment mogul, and land developer, over what has been nearly the past three centuries, he's lived an astounding life.

Jason was said to have met Sharice while traveling in Europe with his son, daughter-in-law, and late brother. It was believed the two met just outside of a retro-club, in France, while vacationing and celebrating his son's wedding to his long-time sweetheart. From there Jason disappeared for a couple of months, only seeing family and friends via video visits, as he and Sharice explored France, England, and Ireland, and most of the European continent together, like two kids in love.

Returning to the states a couple of years later his family and friends noticed the effects of his adventures as they often commented to people how the two lovers only came out at night. They were the definition of the workaholic couple, often locked away at their screens for days on end, seldomly being seen before dusk and if they were it was usually by visitors to their office. They held up in the McCallen Building Penthouse, working, playing, and enjoying all that life had to offer them as they found their success.

Success allowed them to do many things. Jason and Sharice were avid travelers, lovers of the sea, art, and fine wines. More than anything, they loved their family for the understanding they gave them as the two discovered that while it had been a fast couple of years, neither of them was aging the way they should have. In fact, in 2037, a reporter caught up with them in the islands during one of their many vacations, reporting on how the two worldly adventurers had found the fountain of youth. It lead Jason to one of his lifelong dreams, becoming a published author, as he finally wrote their secret to success and a long and beautiful life. After one of their many diving expeditions in the Caribbean, the reporter left their beachside bungalow, forwarded her notes to the Times, and was never seen again.

In 2110, Jason and Sharice opened up the world's largest nature preserve in the United States, seeing that the center of the country saw better air quality after planting and nurturing a billion new trees. They were catalysts to the United States finally achieving a healthier tomorrow for the children and grandchildren of people all around. After, they performed the same miraculous feet in all the major countries around the globe, never stopping their endless fight against humanity's own foolishness. In time, catastrophic storms slowed down, the waters in Manhattan and cities like Miami went back into the oceans, and the sun's radiation that makes it through the atmosphere was cut down ten thousandfold. Today, thanks to their efforts, the planet is continuing to heal from the five-hundred-year effect of the industrial revolution.

How, might one ask, is any of this story possible? Jason was born to normal, simple parents on the Eastern Coast of the United States. His family did the best they could for him but he spent years as a troubled child. Marrying once when he was young, it only lasted a few months before he was left with a son, facing single parenthood, at only 21 years old. He spent the majority of his life struggling until winning the Powerball at 49. Five-Hundred-Million richer, when his son married, he bought a trip to Europe for them all to go exploring, making sure the kids had their own free time without the adults, and a security escort to keep them safe.

Little did the silly American realize, his life was about to be changed for an eternity, as he left their hotel to take a walk, late one fateful night. It was then that he met Sharice Brouliett as he cut down an alley. Running into Sharice lead him, or so he told friends over the past couple of centuries, to his soul mate. Sharice, as it turns out, was the heir to a fortune in her own right and had grown weary of spending her time alone.

Once upon a time, A Deputy Sheriff, A telecom technician, an aspiring writer, and man searching for his soul mate-he was a father, a brother, a friend, a business tycoon, an author, a traveler, a diver, a treasure hunter, and a bit of a playboy.

It was the thing that Jason didn't know, entering into that alleyway, taking a shortcut to see the Eiffel Tower in Paris, that changed his life forever. For it was, his darling Sharice, who was...A VAMPIRE!
