Hope is not just a word , it's a feeling. We are nothing today, it seems like this is the end of the story but tomorrow, it seems like there is new begging. So, there is hope every where. We all are in a stage, where hope remains. Without this, we cannot even live alive. I am sharing a small story which tells the importance of hope. A tiny child named Lila lived in an isolated little village at the base of tall mountains. The community was covered with a pall of sadness, despite its attractive appearance. The sky appeared to be always gloomy, the rivers flowed dry, and the fields were desolate. A site of hopelessness, the once-thriving village had fallen victim to years of drought. Lila, on the other hand, was unique. She endured challenges, but her spirit never faltered. Her eyes glittered with an inexplicable optimism that belied her heart's abundance of hopes.

She felt that her love and faith might somehow revive her land, so every day she would walk across the parched fields while talking to the ground and singing to the sky. From their little, run-down hut, her mother Miriam would frequently observe her. Lila's optimism was admirable, but she was afraid for her heart. Miriam didn't want her daughter to suffer the same fate as she has witnessed far too many dreams crushed by the harsh grasp of reality. Lila raced into the home one evening, her face beaming with delight as the sun sank below the mountains, transforming the sky into shades of orange and pink.

Come on, Mom, hurry on! She said, "You have to see this!" and grabbed Miriam's hand to yank her outdoors.

With a racing heart from a mixture of curiosity and fear, Miriam followed her daughter. She followed Lila to a little area of land close to the village's boundary. There it was, a lone, fragile flower in full bloom among the dry, broken dirt. Despite the dry weather, the vibrant blue flowers of the plant shimmered with dew. Miriam crouched down next to the flower and brushed her fingertips softly over its petals while tears welled up in her eyes. It was a miracle, evidence that maybe there was yet hope.

"Do you see, Mother?" With a tone full of wonder, Lila murmured. "Life finds a way, even in the worst of circumstances. All we need to do is have faith."

The amazing flower's story swiftly spread across the community, giving the worn-out locals newfound hope. Motivated by Lila's steadfast faith, they started working together, tilling the soil and sowing seedlings. They prayed for rain and watered the land every day, even when it seemed useless. Months passed, and as their hope started to wane, ominous clouds began to form in the sky. Rain began to fall, one drop at a time, until the dry land was completely soaked. The sound of the pouring water blended with the laughter of the villagers as they danced in the rain.

The fields were filled with life and became verdant and luscious. Rivers flowed again, and the sky was a dazzling blue instead of grey. The hamlet flourished once more, demonstrating the strength of optimism and the resiliency of the human spirit.

Lila's flower persisted in its bloom, signifying the miracle that had saved them all from certain death. And the community honoured the little girl whose unshakable optimism had transformed their lives forever, each year as they celebrated the harvest.

At the centre of it all was Lila, her eyes still glistening with that same, inexplicable optimism, her heart full of thankfulness. She had imparted to her tribe the knowledge that one should never give up hope since it is hope that keeps us afloat during bad times.
