After everyone had finished their drinks, they all headed towards the condo. Although, Lyla and Alex headed in a different direction, because Lyla had not forgotten the motorcycle sitting in the campus parking lot awaiting its riders' return. Lyla waited for Alex to start up the bike so he could follow her home. They both took off in the direction of the condo; Lyla was feeling exhilarated because she had just invited a boy to stay with her, and one she had just met that day. She had to pull herself out of her own mind because she realized she had momentarily lost Alex and was speeding, so she slowed down until she spotted the headlight on his motorcycle, then continued driving like a model citizen.

Once they arrived, Lyla waited for Alex outside her car, and when he pulled up, she helped him grab his things. They headed inside where they were they were greeted by Serena and Jessica, as well as her other two roommates. Carly and Ann, they were sweet girls, and they mostly kept to themselves. The girls all got along well, and they all even made time for hangouts or 'Girl's Night' since they were living with each other.

"See!?" a voice shouted from the kitchen; it was Serena. "I told you she was bringing 'Mr. Tall, Dark and Sexy', and he's going to be here for the whole week," she said amusingly. Carly, who was a cheerleader for the university, skipped over to Alex and took his helmet from his arm, "wow, you ride a motorcycle? What isn't there to like about you?" Carly wasn't usually one for being coy; she even got into the college on an academic scholarship as well, but she wanted to push some buttons tonight. She liked Lyla, but she always secretly thought that she was into girls since she never brought a boy home, and to her dismay there was one standing in their living room being hazed by the group.

Alex wasn't quite sure what to do with himself, as he had never had this much attention drawn to him in this way. He normally kept to himself in classes, and he even went to the gym at odd hours only to avoid dealing with people. In his mind he liked to think that since his profession is mostly dealing with people, then he'd like to spend as much time without them as possible, if he could help it. He used to tell his parents that it kept him biased if he ever had to go to court with anyone or defend them, so being present in a room with this many people was almost a little overwhelming for him. Almost.

Alex barely blushed out of embarrassment, but it was enough to notice, and Lyla had decided that maybe she should lead him to where he would be staying. She nodded her head near the direction of the stairs. Alex wasn't sure if Lyla would be bold enough to suggest sleeping in the same room or even the same bed; especially since they had only met that day, but from what he had learned today he knew she was daring. When she stopped at her doorway he almost walked right through. She stopped to kick off her shoes and then headed farther down the hallway, and when she turned to look at him, she saw this astonished look on Alex's face, "wait, did you think that I was going to have you sleep in my room?" Alex saved himself and quickly recovered with, "of course not, that would be too rash." Lyla only shook her head and laughed under her breath.

She lead him into the cozy looking room, and he was charmed by how it looked. The sheets where a neutral white with just a hint of blue that you could barely notice, and the walls were an Easter like yellow; it also was very subtle, but where the sun was hitting it, you could see it. Just in front of the foot of the bed was a hanging chair floating over a pile of books. Alex assumed someone would normally sneak into this room to read in solitude, and he couldn't blame them; this room was every introvert, book worm, and study bug's dream. He felt at home here.

"I hope this room is okay, but if it's not you are welcome to trade with me. I haven't gotten around to painting my walls yet, so you can't tell a girl stays there," she told him.

He shook his head at her, "no, no, this room is perfect. I'll be just fine here." He began taking things out of Lyla's arms and hands to get himself settled, and when Lyla turned to leave, he grabbed her hand; quietly pleading for her to stay. "I enjoy your company, and we can head back down after I'm finish," he stated casually. There was a coolness in his voice that Lyla could only take as he had finally warmed up to her completely.

"Well, if you insist," Lyla said mockingly, but he knew that she was joking. Why else would she let him stay in her home, and she quickly flashed a smile at him to confirm what he was thinking. "If you'd like, since I'm here, I can help you get settle," she asked.

He looked up at her from the floor, "No, I think I can handle it, I was just going to put my stuff out of the way and pull out my charger for the night," he told her, which is exactly what he did. As he pulled himself to his feet he kindly asked, " alright, well, are you ready to head back down to the others? I'm sure they have many questions they're dying to ask. Me." They both laughed as they headed back out of the room, and they caught a glimpse of the girls peaking their heads around the stairs.

As soon as they had been caught, they hightailed it for the couch as they tripped over one another. It looked like watching a race, but like they were also playing twister at the same time. Lyla and Alex looked back at each other and bust into a hearty laugh and headed down the stairs after the girls. When they reached the bottom the whole room erupted with laughter, because the girls knew they had been discovered.
