Dragon Warrior

There weren’t always dragons in the Valley.

( This story is inspired by series of Beth Crowley songs very Dark and gothic)

Maze lived in a run down castle. One night she got woken up by a deep scary voice by her bedside window that was very narrow.

Maze used to be a princess before her kingdom was destroyed by an Army of dragons . The king and Queen , Maze’s parents were burned to death by fire breathing dragons. Maze promised herself , she will avenge her parents and her kingdom of their demise. That’s how she became the Dragon Warrior. No dragon has ever defeated her. A Magic Sorcerer had given her a shield that protect her from the fire breathing dragons.

She got up quickly and put on her Warrior armor. “who’s there? show yourself !!!”, she shouted with her sword raise high . The sword shine bright, it’s glare was very blinding.

“I will meet you at the Deathbed Valley at sun down tomorrow night.” Said the deep scary voice.

Above the castle was a dragon flying in place, giving her the message and it disappeared in thin air after it give Maze the message.

The deathbed Valley is a place no dragon can set paws at. Dragons are forbidden in the deathbed Valley.

Maze was not sure what kind of creature she will met at Deathbed Valley. She was sure it won’t be a dragon.

Maze got to the Valley . The Scary deep voice called to come closer. Maze used her sword to light up the Valley that was so dark because the trees block the moonlight. The trees were very dense. Maze saw a tall man wearing an amor such as herself. She could not really see his face ,it was block by his helmet.

“ What do you want , why did you asked me to met you here in the Valley?”She asked the man in the amor .

“ To show you, there is no dragon in the Valley.”

“ Tell me something new, mate.”

“That’s right we will be mates.”

Maze had enough, “ Stop talking in riddles and get down to business, why did you asked me here?!”

“ To asked you to be my bride .” He answered.

“ Why would I want to be your bride?”

“ So, we can build your kingdom back to its old glory.”

“ Who are you?” Asked Maze getting very frustrated.

“ I am King Drake from a far away kingdom, you never heard of.”

Drake showed Maze his kingdom’s shield, it had two fire breathing dragon on it.

“ I don’t deal with dragons’ friend people.”

Drake try to assure her but Maze had her reservation on this guy.

Drake asked Maze to visit his kingdom.

Two days has pass since Maze encounter with King Drake.

Maze just battle three dragons yesterday and they disappeared in thin air right before she completely annihilated them. Strange things been happening since she met King Drake.

Many kings from different kingdoms have asked for her hand in marriage. Maze have refused them all.

Before, Maze parents died , The Deiro Kingdom was known for its wealth and its people’s talents. Legend has it , there is massive treasure underneath the castle 🏰 but no one has ever seen it. Maze has not even try to find her family treasure.

Little did Maze knew, Drake is really the Dragon that saved her, when her parents was killed. Maze was just a toddler then. She was wondering alone in the forest and Drake was flying by and notice a tiny figure wondering aimlessly in the burn down forest. Drake was surprised the toddler survived. Drake flew Maze back to her rundown castle. He also made sure she had servants to take care of her. He would visit her at night to make sure she was ok, as Maze got older he fell in love with her. He grow very fond of her personality and especially her courage. Drake watched her from a distance.

Will king Drake convinced Maze to marry him? Who is Drake really, can he be trusted? Will Maze stay single and just battle dragons for the rest of her life?

What will become of the Deiro Kingdom and its treasures that’s has yet to be discovered. Well Drake tell Maze what he really is?
