Once upon a time there was a king who liked to go hunting in the prairie with a large and powerful retinue. Once the king chased a leopard with great authority until the speed of the leopard slowed down, then the king calmly bent his bow and shot an arrow at the leopard's neck, and the leopard fell to the ground.

The king was very happy to see the leopard lying on the ground for a long time without any movement, and thought it was dead, so he dismounted before his attendants could catch up. The king was stunned to see the leopard open its bloody mouth to bite, he subconsciously flashed, thinking "it's over". Fortunately, his attendant arrived in time and immediately shot an arrow into the leopard's throat. The king felt a pain in his little finger, and the leopard fell to the ground without a word and really died.

After returning to the palace, the more the king thought about it, the more unhappy he was, so he asked the chancellor to come and drink wine to relieve his sorrow. The chancellor toasted the king while smiling and said: "The king should be happy, it is better to lose a small piece of meat than a life! Be happy, everything is for the best."

When the king heard this, he finally found a chance to vent his unhappiness, reprimanded the prime minister and put him in jail.

After a month, the king recovered from his injuries and intended to find the chancellor for a private tour as before, but thinking that he had put him in prison, he could not release the chancellor for a while and went on a trip alone.

The king was walking, came to a remote mountain forest, suddenly from the mountain rushed down a team of barbarians with red and yellow grease face, three or two times he was tied up and brought back to the high mountain. The king then thought that today is a full moon, there is a primitive tribe in this area, every full moon day will come down to the mountains to find sacrifices to the goddess of the full moon. He thought to himself that it was over. He wanted to say to the barbarians, "I am the king, let me go and I will reward you with gold and silver." But his mouth was stuffed with rags, so he couldn't even say anything.

He was brought to a cauldron taller than a man, and the fire was burning, making him pale with fear. The high priest showed up and undressed the king in public, revealing his fine skinned dragon body. The high priest tsked, never thought he could still find such a flawless sacrifice now! It turns out that today's sacrifice to the goddess of the full moon, is a symbol of "perfection", so the sacrifice of a little ugly, a little darker, a little shorter does not matter, just can not be defective. At the moment of pushing the king into the frying pan, the high priest finally found the king's left little finger missing a small half, he could not help but gnash his teeth and cursed half a day, painful order that the waste away, and find another. The king was overjoyed and flew back to the palace. He immediately ordered the release of the prime minister, sent troops to drive out the barbarians, and hosted a banquet in the royal garden to celebrate his life and the prime minister's freedom.

The king said, while drinking wine, that if the leopard had not bitten him, he would have lost his life today. The chancellor also took a sip of wine and said, "Thanks to the king's decision to put me in prison, I was able to save my life. Otherwise, who else would have accompanied you on your private tour? When the barbarians found out that the king was not fit to sacrifice to the goddess of the full moon, I would have been the one to be cooked in the cauldron. So I would like to propose a toast to you for saving my life.

This story may be a bit bizarre. But the philosophy contained in it is indisputable. It's true that the blessing of a disaster is the blessing of a disaster. There are highs and lows in life, and there are gains and losses in life. As long as we are always optimistic about success or failure, dialectical view of the problem, we will be able to pass the crisis, waiting for the turn of fate, life will be easy and pleasant.
