In the magical world of Santa Claus’ North Pole, all of the gingerbread houses were lived in by the Elves and reindeer. Mr. and Mrs. Elf were preparing for their little elf baby to arrive in one of the quaint A-framed gingerbread houses.
Mrs. Claus, with other Elves, reindeers, and Winterland animals, all got together to throw this young Elf family a Christmas Baby Shower.
“Oh, Mrs. Claus, you have outdone yourself with all the baby gifts,” Santa said excitedly.
“Well, thank you, Santa. I am more than just a pretty face behind the cookie sheet!” Mrs. Claus winked.
Santa and Mrs. Claus arrived with a stack of diapers, a firetruck with a teddy bear, and a baby outfit. Rudolph carried the adorable baby bottle decorated like a Santa outfit.
Santa was amazed by the many Christmas-themed baby gifts. He was thrilled that Mr. and Mrs. Elf didn’t know the baby’s gender. Santa always enjoyed surprises. But, leave it up to Mrs. Claus, who made sure she made gifts for both genders just in case.
This baby shower was a joyous occasion, with everyone from the North Pole arriving with gifts. Even Eddie, their Schnauzer, showed up with a gift.
Santa had never heard of some of the baby shower games they would play. There was a diaper raffle, books for babies, a baby bingo game, and a Mommy or Daddy quiz.
While everyone played, Penguin serenaded everyone in the background with Christmas baby songs.
One of them was very catchy:
“Oh merry jingle, jingle
Your newborn looks like Kris Kringle
With all of those wrinkles
May you dance a jingle
when your newborn does a tinkle.”
A few other wildlife brought baby shower balloons that floated in the starry winter sky. It felt like a magical evening for all.
Mr. and Mrs. Elf loved the new baby crib Santa had built for their little one.
“Santa, this charming sleigh cradle is so cute,” said Mr. Elf.
“It was nothing,” answered Santa, a little bashful.
“Mrs. Claus, you have done so much!” said Mrs. Elf.
“We know you have been busy with Santa’s travels. It must have been some holly jolly juggling for you”, Mr. Elf said.
“It was nothing! I am a strong and empowered woman who can balance work and life easily!” sings Mrs. Claus.
At the end of the party, Mrs. Claus came out with a jolly, festive vanilla frosted elf baby shower cake.
The Elf family’s Samoyed dog, Frosty loved the cradle and tried to get into it himself. Luckily, Mrs. Dasher was there to give a hoof and stop him from destroying the new gift.
When the party wrapped up, Santa took Rudolph off to the side of the house to talk about Christmas Eve.
“Rudolph, listen, it’s been a tough year for everyone. With people worried about high prices, even though inflation looks like it’s slowing down, wars are going on, flu, COVID, and a mysterious dog respiratory thing is happening. We need to make this one night and day special for everyone.” said Santa.
With his glowing red nose, Rudolph answered with confidence and said, “I got you covered Santa. I have sprinkled extra gratitude, peace, and love on all the gifts. So when the parents hand out the gifts this year to the kids, they will also feel the magic.”
With a frost in the air and the starry night creating a sky highway, Santa and Rudolph were about to embark on their Christmas Eve flight, carrying the magic of the season to every corner of the world.
