I have to take a moment to brag about my wife. She’s an author. She has self-published two books, and her third book is almost ready for release. She has her doctorate in education, and she decided that, after nearly a decade in education, she wanted to chase her dream of being an author. She’s written these books while doing a fantastic job caring for our kids. Between soccer practice, dance practice and recitals, conferences, doctor appointments, and caring for all of us, she did what so many people aren’t willing to risk doing; she went for it!

People love her books, and she’s already an international seller with sales in France and Australia. If you’re looking for some drama to dive into this summer, consider checking out her books below!

Her first book is “Gone.”

Description:

Jo and Nick Anderson couldn’t imagine a world without the other in it. Everything in their life was perfect. Until, in the blink of an eye, Jo and Nick’s three-year-old daughter, Lulu, went missing.

Gone. Missing. Dead?

Despite all efforts, neither she nor her body was ever discovered. Jo’s determination to keep looking, and Nick’s need to heal and listen to the experts, tore at the thread that held the two of them together.

As Jo fell further and further into her depths of despair, Nick grew helpless in his resolve to reach her.

When Jo receives a life-changing phone call, she and Nick must come face to face for the first time in four years.

Her second book is “Lucky Ones.”

Description:

Vanessa's luck has just run out. Though she's supposed to be her parents' perfect daughter in every way - the one with the college degree, the big-girl job, and the successful lifestyle - her sudden and unexpected break-up from her ideal boyfriend has left her reeling.

Bradley, however, is used to disappointing her parents. As the "rebel" of the family, she's never had to live up to the expectations her older sister has. In an effort to cheer her sister up, Bradley invited Vanessa to a night on the town which quickly turns south, when Bradley is drugged and almost snatched from the Lucky Ones bar.

Even though the owner, Jones, saves her sister from a dire fate, the attack stirs a tragic incident from Vanessa's past - one that she's tried to keep buried. Haunted by its reemergence, she'll either have to face what she's feared to admit, or drown in silence.

Her third book, “He Did It” is available for pre-order.

Description:

Taylor Smith hasn’t always had it easy, but she worked hard for her college scholarship and makes do with her job—all to avoid ending up like her parents. Claire, her roommate and best friend, is the exact opposite, rich beyond Taylor’s comprehension and maybe a little high maintenance.

When a charming man named Dylan shows up at Taylor’s work and asks her out on a date, she is flustered, but flattered. Claire, on the other hand, senses something off about him, but Taylor ignores her picky taste. Soon, Taylor realizes the relationship is quickly spiraling out of control—from a shotgun wedding to angry words to multiple bruises. And then, when Claire tries to help Taylor escape her desperate situation, it’s all over the news.

Taylor’s missing.

Claire knows what happened. The public might be enchanted by the story of a husband trying to find his wife, but Claire will stop at nothing to save Taylor and prove that he did it.
