Once upon a time, there was a braggart named Martin who used to brag to others about how capable he was, but in fact he couldn't do anything but talk.

One day, Martin went to a neighboring village to play. At the entrance of the village, he met a group of villagers who were going to catch frogs in the fields with weapons in hand. They all knew Martin the braggart, so they were all very happy and wanted to have fun with him.

A villager said to Martin, "Hey, Martin, all the frogs here are the size of wild boars. Do you dare to catch them with us?"

Martin was very happy when he heard that, because he loved to eat frog meat, not to mention that he had never seen a frog as big as a wild boar! So he immediately replied, "Okay! I'll go with you."

Another villager reminded him, "Martin, bring a big stick, those frogs are hard to deal with!"

The braggart Martin laughed: "Hahaha! Wooden sticks? What are you doing with wooden sticks? If the frogs in the field are really as big as wild boars, I will ride on their backs and break their necks with my bare hands."

Martin really followed the villagers into the fields without a stick. Of course, he didn't forget to brag to the villagers along the way. His big words made the frog king hiding under the leaves listen.

The frog king gathered all the frogs under the tree and told them, "Everyone pay attention, let's teach that braggart a lesson, and see if he dares to brag in the future!"

At this time, the villagers all split up to find the frog. Martin walked forward alone, and the Frog King followed closely behind him. Walking, walking, the Frog King suddenly jumped to the bank of the river in front of Martin. It half-closed its eyes and lay there silently, motionless. Martin didn't know this, and he continued to walk forward. The frogs on the side of the road kept calling to him, like thunder.

Martin was shocked and angry when he heard it, and just when he couldn't take it anymore, suddenly, he really saw a huge frog lying in front of him, not moving. Now, Martin was happy, he really jumped on the frog king's back. It was too late, it was too soon, and the frog king immediately hooked Martin's neck tightly with one front foot and jumped into the river.

At this time, Martin was a little scared. He desperately tried to break free from the front foot of the frog king, but the frog king was too strong, and he couldn't break free.

At this time, the Frog King spoke: "Don't be afraid, young man. I'll take you to swim across the river. How about we sing while we swim." As he said that, he really opened his throat and sang loudly, and all the frogs on the shore also followed. The noise was unbearable.

Martin was terrified. He struggled even harder, trying to escape from the Frog King's back, but he was tightly hooked by the Frog King, and there was nothing he could do.

The villagers felt very strange when they heard such a noisy sound of frogs, and they came to the river one after another.

They couldn't help laughing when they saw Martin actually riding on the back of a giant frog and swimming on the river like a bear.

Looking at Martin, who was riding on the frog's back, the villagers shouted loudly: "Hey, Martin, aren't you going to break the frog's neck? 'Twist it! Twist it! Didn't you say you don't have to use a weapon, Can you catch a frog? Then let's open our eyes!"

Before long, the Frog King carried Martin to the other side of the river, threw Martin ashore with force, and said to Martin, "It's all right now. Do you dare to brag in the future?" The Frog King said, and disappeared with a jump.

Martin blushed with shame. After returning to the village, he said to the villagers: "I was wrong. I like to brag because I am afraid that others will laugh at me and look down on me, but I still make people laugh. From now on, I will be an honest person and never brag again."

Really, from that day on, Martin never bragged again.
