Ellie and Kinsey were having a sleepover at Lisa’s house. They had all persuaded their parents to allow them to have this sleepover because the three families were friends.

Unbeknownst to their parents, the three thirteen-year-old kids had an ulterior motive for the sleepover, which was to play the Bloody Mary game!

They had heard of the folklore and how many said it was real, but the three curious kids were skeptical and wanted to see for themselves.

They were the “seeing is believing” sort of girls, and today was the D-Day. They wanted to experience the thrill and pleasure and, of course, confirm their skepticism.

It was just 2:30 a.m. when the silent alarm roused the three kids from their beds.

Excited, they quietly sneaked out of the room and headed for the bathroom.

No one volunteered to go first.

Despite their incredulity, they had a superstitious belief deep down that Bloody Mary was real.

So the three played rock, paper, and scissors, and coincidentally, Lisa lost and was picked as the first participant.

Reluctantly, Lisa agreed, although she was slightly scared. She entered the bathroom, shut the door, placed a red candle on the sink, and then turned off the light, making the bathroom pitch dark.

She looked at her dark reflection in the mirror and exhaled deeply, her heart pounding furiously.

Then she lit up the candle.

“Bloody Mary!” she said slowly, her heart thumping rapidly.

“Bloody Mary!”

“Bloody Mary!”

Nothing happened!

Then she spun around three times and fixed her eyes on the mirror, waiting in anticipation for something to happen.

But still, nothing happened!

But she didn’t give up!

She could have just blown out the candle and left, but she didn’t. She was determined!

She had heard that there were other ways to lure her out other than just merely calling her name.

So she decided to try it.

“Bloody Mary! I killed your baby! I killed your baby! Come out now! Come out now!”

She said this three times, slowly, then spun around three times again.

But once again, nothing happened!

“So lame!” she muttered.

She bent down to blow out the candle when she caught a glimpse of something in the mirror.

Then she glanced at the mirror... and what she saw terrified her out of her wits!

“Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh...!”

Lisa’s frantic scream shook the whole house.

Her unending scream awakened both her parents.

Both Ellie and Kinsey tried their hardest to open the door, but it wouldn’t budge!

Lisa’s parents rushed to the bathroom, only to find the two kids outside, looking terrified!

Lisa’s dad didn’t have time to ask questions. He began to force the door open with his shoulder.

After many attempts, the door finally opened, but Lisa’s scream had long died down.

Lisa’s dad groped for the switch and turned on the light.

Lisa’s parents, alongside her friends, encountered the greatest shock of their lives!

There lay Lisa in a corpse-like state, her flesh ripped off from her beautiful face, with blood all over the bathroom. On the cracked mirror, there was a message written in capital letters with Lisa’s blood:

DARE SAY MY NAME!

Then the whole house plunged into darkness!

And then they heard a rattling noise...

Screams!!!
