Prologue: Ch.0

It's been 100 years since the "Glorious War." The war to end all wars, the war that consumed the ENTIRE world. Every country that was able, was involved.

Humanity slowed to a crawl to come back from it. Slowly healing the wounds of nuclear genocide. Eradicating literal countries off the map.

War, military conflict, and politics have been strictly forbidden. The shattered pieces of government have gone to extreme lengths to prohibit conflict of all kinds.

Dividing and separating the people enough to weaken their mob rule.

A class system not only still exists in this near-extinct time, but it is also VERY prominent.

The areas around the world are split into two groups. Sections and Districts.

Districts: These are state-size. Taking away the individuality of state names or country borders. Replacing it with numbers. Truly stripping the beauty of nations and reducing them to numeric divisions.

Sections: These are more city-wide. Dividing towns from each other. Making sure that they were separate enough to not cause any trouble. Though the towns in the upper class are more lenient with their divisions.

The Upper Class: The ones who benefitted from the "Glorious War" have a position near the top. Almost having as much pull as the tattered government. They also provide the currency that gives stability to the fragile civilization. What they say goes.

The Middle Class: Is exactly that, they'll never make it to be upper class. While working excruciatingly hard to not fall into the unescapable pit that is the lower class. They are the pillar of the recovering society - though, they'll never know it.

Building the cities the upper class enjoys. Building their own towns as well. Keeping both sections running. They are the spine of their districts. Taken for granted as they stand, but can be felt as soon as they are gone.

The Lower Class: The "expendable" people. The workers who work to death every day. The people who can be bought for what would equate to a dollar in our world. The excess and disposable influx portion of the population is mostly used by the upper class. They were the greatest affected by the "Glorious War." Losing relatives, jobs, lands, and still losing nearly a century later.

Black Water Valley: The poorest section in their country. The original name for this shit-hole has been wiped out along with the original inhabitants. Renamed by the residents who live there. The ones who have to drink that putrid-colored, oatmeal-textured, dark liquid.

People don't come here, they drift here. Being unwillingly bound here. Unable to make it anywhere else, Black Water begrudgingly becomes their home. Though Black Water produces THE BEST FIGHTERS

In a world where ANY type of conflict or compensation is decided by the section faction's fighting ability. They put together a team to represent them.

Fighting for resources, lands, laws, or bills to be passed, or fighting for equality. They propose a change, and whoever challenges their proposal puts up their own team to battle against it. The winner of the battle decides the outcome. A more barbaric and apocalyptic way of going about it, but this is how they move forward from the "Glorious War."

This is where all battles in their sector or district are held. The nosebleed seats are usually for the lower class. the middle rows, appropriately for the middle class. While the front-row seats are reserved for the upper class. They have luxurious seats and rugs tailor-made for them. Allowing them to place bets and enjoy the carnage in front of them.

"The Dogged Black Water Dogs" have beat every single team they were matched up against. So they serve as entertainment for the Upper Class as they try to destroy the "winning streak" along with their way of life. For mere fun.

The Black Water Dogs have been asking for changes for their city for decades. Never was it given to them, so instead they fight for money and inch by inch trying to better their city themselves.
