Kenya Kente said it himself: “If you ever fall from grace you’ll be bruised beyond all recognition.” His descent in business relations and personal relationships meant that he would be forever scarred.

So he came back to Delaware with about a half a million dollars where he was one a centibillionaire. He still had a fortune but he had to sell off so many possessions to just get out of debt.

He looked his father, Baraka Kente, in the face. They embraced.

“Welcome home, son. Don’t worry. We’re about as remote as we can be. No paparazzi will be here.”
