Have you ever heard of a story of a lion who was trying to break a wall? That wall was blocking a path into the dense forest. Lion was unable to jump over the wall and wanted to see the other side.

He first tried to jump over, failing to, then decided to break it. He thought how hard it would be. He like an athlete took the position and hit hard with his head. The wall did not break. Lion hit it many times but it went in vain.

A donkey in a nearby area was watching this situation. The donkey was afraid of the lion, but seeing him hitting it many times, came forward. He knew the lion was exhausted and there were crevices in the wall because of the lion's hits.

He thought it was a golden chance to impress the lion. Donkey knew well what to do. Lion told him that it was impossible to break that wall. Donkey replied that this wall would not stand his hit. Lion laughed and said " I have been hitting it for long and has not broken yet. How would a donkey break it?"

Donkey looked towards the sky, shook his head, spit on the front hooves, and tilted his head a little right with his chin down. He ran towards the wall and hit it with his front legs then turned around and hit again with the hind legs.

Lion saw that bricks started falling off. The wall could not stand this last strike and dashed to the ground.

Donkey proudly looked towards the lion, the king of the jungle. He said So you see, I am more powerful. The lion was impressed. He thought of making Donkey his senior minister.

This story conveys that we should calculate our efforts and estimate the distance between us and our goal. If we don't know the exact figures others can take away our pride and hard work. Hard work with intelligence is smart work Key To Success.
