The country I live in is rich and powerful, and the era I live in is an era of peace. Those dark and feudal times of history have passed, and the rotten ideas of those chaotic countries have been forgotten. But the words of the writers of that time will not be erased by time, they lead us to a sunken and sealed story.

"All happy families are alike, all unhappy families are different." The main character is named Anna, who is one of the many unfortunate families.

Anna is the wife of a high-ranking government official, Karenin, a woman of Russian high society. She has all the appearance and charm that they have, as well as her unique charm. What distinguished Anna from other noblewomen was her eyes, which shone deep under thick eyelashes, with an astonishing and captivating, sometimes serious, sometimes melancholic look, and suddenly, through a smile, revealed the vitality and overflowing youth. And it was these beautiful eyes that made Vronsky amazed when he first met Anna.

Anna, who was born so beautiful and charming, had a tragic end - she committed suicide by lying on the rail. What caused her to choose death was her relationship, as she and her husband Karenin were a typical "political marriage". Her husband was twenty years older than her, and he was old-fashioned and hypocritical. She did not love her husband, and during these eight depressing years, Anna carefully put away her love and longing, took care of her son Seryozha, and lived an insipid life. Finally, all this is disrupted with the appearance of Vronsky - he reawakens Anna's quest for love. They meet and fall in love with each other quickly and recklessly. But Anna is already a wife. Amid the infidelity of Karenin, who only wants fame and doesn't care about his wife, and Vronsky, who is a womanizer and a promiscuous womanizer, she suffers and struggles, but finally chooses to be with Vronsky.

She knew that once she made such a decision, she would lose everything, and even be scolded and scorned, and despised by her son. She was prepared to face nothing, but she did not think that the only thing she had, all the faith in Vronsky, is high society, new and old, irresponsible playboy. Now Anna has become Vronsky's ties, he no longer loves her and gradually tires of her. In this way, Anna, who has been suffering from the pressure of public opinion, her lover's indifference, and her inner pain, finally chooses to let the whistling train end her life.

Anna is beautiful, brave, and free, she pursues the love she envisions, but she is also naive, impulsive, and blind, she imagines the era too simply, she can't even see the true face of her beloved, and allows the cruel reality to torture herself all over the body.

After reading this book, the hidden questions behind the story are thought-provoking - what made Anna end up in such a state? Anna pursued her love; Karenin only cared about fame and profit; Vronsky loved Anna or not was his freedom - no one was wrong, the fault was in the dark times and those corrupt ideas.

Thanks to this book, brought me to know a woman so beautiful and brave, so born in the mud of a delicate rose, so that I have the privilege to share her life.

Anna's dependence on Vronsky and her impulsiveness, combined with Vronsky's lack of responsibility, is the overwhelming causes of Anna's tragic end. Tolstoy's Anna died, but her courageous spirit lives on forever, and Tolstoy's spirit of attacking the decadent times remains in the heart.
