He laughed. It was a deep guttural laugh that left her feeling an ache between her legs. “It isn’t enough,” was all that he said and it was all that she needed to hear as she reached up to kiss him again. The second kiss was filled with more fire and passion as she parted her lips and granted him access. His tongue and hers battled for dominance and it was a dance that felt so amazing to play. It felt like an eternity had passed. The kiss was everything that she had ever hoped for. Her body was consumed with desire and all she wanted was to rip off his clothes and allow him to take her right where they stood. She knew she was dreaming because this couldn't be real. Yet, the part of her that longed for some connection with someone knew that what was happening was very real. He was here. He was real and he loved her.

‘Steady your nerves’ she scolded herself. She knew that she needed to know more but she didn't want to know. She wanted to have this moment and allow herself to simply 'be'.

Victoria had decided that she needed to know who he was. She needed to know why he was here she needed to know everything but as she pulled herself out from his hold her body began to float away.

"What's happening?" she cried out.

"It seems we've run out of time mi amor. Until next time. I'll wait for you."

She was pulled faster and farther away from that place until the darkness surrounded her. She felt a heaviness in her chest and when she opened her eyes she was lying in a bed in a familiar room. "Where am I?" she asked as her eyes adjusted to the light in the space.

"You are in your room. You passed out and we had trouble waking you so we brought you to your room and gave you something that clearly helped. How are you feeling?" the nurse asked.

"I'm a bit disoriented. Where's Monique?" Victoria questioned as she looked around the room but didn't see her. "Her shift ended. She'll be back in a few days,"

"A few days? But we were working on something together. I was hoping we would be able to finish it." Victoria pleaded. She came across as though she were whining and she had to admit that she could hear the whine in her voice. She regretted the way that she sounded because she knew if she pushed too hard she would lose this opportunity.

"Just rest," the nurse said firmly as lifted his body from the bent over position he had taken. His tanned skin complimented his deep brown eyes and she could see dark circles just above the mask that he was wearing. "Ok," she said as she realized that this nurse was exhausted and further conversation wouldn't benefit her.

"Ok, that's good. Get some rest. Someone will be in to check on you later." He said hastily and turned around quickly. He left the room before she even had to a chance to thank him. Victoria suck deeper into the bed as she thought about the dream that she had. It had been so long since she had dreamt of him. It had been so long since he made her feel the way that he did. A familiar fear settled in as she remembered back to the first night that she had embraced him in one of her dreams.

She closed her eyes and allowed her memories to go back to that first night.

“Talk,” She stated firmly in her memory. Her lips had gently removed from his when she broke the kiss she had so desperately yearned for.

“Of course,” he said. He took her hand and led her to a couch.

“First, where are we?” She asked him as she looked around the room she had never seen before.

“This is my home,” he said smiling.

“Where do you live?” She asked with a curious tone that almost sounded childish. She mentally chastised herself for her poor behavior.

“I live in San Diego,” he said with such a matter of fact tone that it threw her off. ‘What is he saying to me?’ she wondered to herself...

“That’s impossible!” She gasped.

“Is it?” he asked with a raised eyebrow.

“Yes, yes it is!” this time her words came out more forcefully. She needed him to understand that she was no fool. Even if he was just a figment of her imagination she wasn’t going to imagine her dream guy living in San Diego. She hated San Diego. San Diego stole her mother. San Diego was the worst place in the world as far as she was concerned.

“As impossible as my visiting you in your home every night and you finding me in your dreams?” He asked the question simply, yet she wasn’t ready to give the answer. She wasn’t ready to hear what he was going to say next. Victoria steeled herself and allowed the conversation to continue despite every part of her is telling her to not let him go on. The reminder that she used to validate this increasing insanity was to tell herself…’ It’s just a dream.’

“Fine,” She huffed. He smiled. She sat down on the couch next to him. The blue couch was soft and warm. The cloth was slightly aged but there was a spring breeze scent on it. It was plush and she felt her entire body sinking into it. It was like a new lullaby drifting her to sleep and calming her frazzled mind. She looked up into his eyes and he placed his hands over her hand and began to speak.

“I first met you through your mother,”
