A Mysterious Package

Samantha sat at her kitchen table, staring at the small brown package that had arrived in the mail that morning. It was addressed to her, but there was no return address and no indication of who had sent it.

She hesitated for a moment before carefully opening the package. Inside was a small wooden box with intricate carvings on the lid. She lifted the lid and gasped in surprise.

Inside the box was a beautiful necklace made of gold and precious stones. It sparkled in the light and seemed to be calling out to her.
