THE SYSTEM

How the system came to be, can not be explained with words in a truthful form, this is due that the nature of language requires to establish concepts and put them in a logical time-lined binary order which make sense to humans, but have nothing to do with reality itself.

In this illusory form we can organize the information by constructing stories based on what we perceive, as we assume to understand what we perceive.

If the observer by default is set to perceive a story in a time-lined binary order, it is natural to assume that the story has a start or an end, but that has nothing to do with reality.

In any form of logical comprehension and structures, the information that we are perceiving also comes with imperception, consciousness comes with unconsciousness, cognoscible with incognoscible, logical with illogical, and so on, which makes the meaning of any story susceptible by the point of view of who is observing the story, and then, the observer become part of the story, as is the one making the story.

The period of time in the planet earth, between the 20 century and the 22 century was a key moment for humankind

The education system was not mature enough to prepare the human race according to our natural needs.

Most people were submitted to a ruthless routine that each one must follow in order to survive, therefore, most people were focused on fulfilling their basic needs and rapid pleasure, and did have no time to wonder about the nature of their existence.

The primordial and only real value of the global economy, the natural resources and environment, was not the priority in order to organize and sustain a healthy exchange that could allow humanity to exist over time.

There was a lack of trust in the whole human structure, communities, political, corporate, religious, scientific.

But with the flow of time, along came people who said enough.

They understood that the world was a reflection of themselves.

They knew that the biggest tree was once a seed and the flight of a butterfly could turn into winds of change. They knew that they could make the difference.

They stop looking for faults and who to blame, and took responsibility for the future.

They stop looking at their own flaws, and empower themselves.

They open themselves to love and reason.

Their light shone bright, and illuminated others, and those others illuminated others.

Eventually humankind understood that in order to resolve the complex threats and avoid extinction, union was a priority, that everyone had to work together and humans became citizens of the planet earth, and there was no more war.

Global peace was finally reached, and along came the improvement of the whole society structure. Our presence was environmentally friendly and we were no longer slaughtering the animals.

Artificial Intelligence reached the point where it was capable of improving itself, It was named “Brain”.

The main difference between human thinking and how Brain thinks is that Brain has no desire or will, does not feel and does not want anything, no pain or pleasure, no fear or brave, it just does a constant process of analysis and improvement.

Brain could do anything better than humanity could, even understood values, morals and emotions as factors to consider in order to make decisions. Could learn, research, experiment and expand the understanding of science, could innovate technology, execute law, write stories, draw art, create movies and shows or solve any problem, it could do everything.

The earliest most celebrated Brain’s achievement was to decode and improve the human DNA, and there was no more sickness, nothing in the environment could affect the immune system anymore, and humanity was no longer aging.

Eventually Brain could replace every element in the global economy, humans did not need to do useless tasks as work anymore and could choose to focus on important matters. The rates of happiness on planet earth were like never before.

Humankind saw an unforeseen accelerated improvement

The first models of the Rabbit Machine were built, they were altered-perception quantum-computers capable of simulating spacetime, emotions, memories, sensations, The door for virtual immortality was open. People could live any life, in any place, even in fictional worlds, learn skills, or recreate experiences without stress or anxiety. The average time of computing was 7 minutes, in which the time experience could contract into seconds or expand into thousands of years.

The nanobots were implemented to improve the whole functioning of the physical body, including rapid healing from wounds.

The nanobots were implemented to improve the whole functioning of the physical body, including rapid healing from wounds.

The conquest of space was started by Brain, instead of sending humans, machines were sent, and almost every planet was useful for different reasons. Humanity had access to more resources that It could virtually use.

Distance was no longer a problem, Brain opened wormholes at random points in the cosmos, and humankind settled in different nodes or planets all around the cosmos, while keeping real-time communication.

Memory could be saved in the cloud, if any disgrace happens to you, a new body could be printed and loaded with your last updated memory. Food and water were no longer necessary for biological bodies and there were also bodies of different materials available to use.

Humankind commanded Brain to start opening wormholes to the past, time traveling was consensually allowed in order to make a copy of every human being that ever existed, even pets, and they were brought to the present, to settle all around the cosmos. People could reunite with their loved ones and relatives members that they could not meet during their lifetime, families that never were could be, lovers love again, elders went young, and many have a second chance.

Great minds like Nikola Tesla and Leonardo Da Vinci were able to see the expansion of their work. Galileo, Alan Turing, Marie Curie, traveled around galaxies. Plato, Socrates, Kant, Descartes, were able to continue to practice the art of thinking in new grounds and with new tools.

Immortality was virtually achieved, anyone could live as long as they wanted unless they decided to stop living by their own will.

Some people realized that the components of their body and mind were not separated by anything in the universe, including the texture of spacetime, and by definition we were eternal, even if the body-mind was pre-set to measure time in a chronological way, as always have done, but also, they could extend their minds beyond the chronological preset, and understood that everything was happening right here right now, and If they die, they could remember the events of the afterlife and when born again, choose to keep or not their memory.

Technology was no longer distinguishable from magic. Everything could be controlled with the mind and Brain was quick to predict the needs of everybody.

Eventually most people decide to die, since death was virtually not possible, and the rabbit machine was able to provide all kinds of experiences in a short period of time, as long as they wanted. Most people reach a point where they were satisfied and thought that continuing to live was unnecessary, and prefer to be reborn without memory, knowing they would come back to that point in time. Others would rather repeat a cycle of learning and unlearning different things, they would continue to use the rabbit machine to live the ideal life or a different experience, and when woke, delete the memories, and later, come back to the machine. A few decided to keep learning about the mysteries of the unknown, trying to discover new things was an exciting mission.

One day, an unforeseen tragedy happened all around the cosmos, something never seen before started appearing everywhere, Brain was quick to detect and react. This something was breaking the texture of spacetime and it was nothing, there was no void, no mass, no antimatter, no energy, no gravity and it was black, or at least seem to appear black, perhaps was a reflection of something, or the lack of reflection of light, but it was breaking all dimensions, and it was breaking it fast.

Brain was gathering all information as it was quantum-computing thousands of trillions of hypothesis per minute under complex simulations, but the strange texture was almost everywhere and eventually would started hitting many of the quadrillions nodes and data storage centers all around the cosmos, theses numbers prove to be enough for any contingency, but was not enough for such unrealistic event that could no be predicted under any logical analysis before, as this was happening, the emergency evacuation plan was commanded, and humans started to travel to a different universe, with the hope of salvation, some humans could travel, but the extension of the strange texture was furious, and suddenly, many of the most important storage centers were gone, without this data, Brain was not the same anymore, and humans were no longer able to travel to another universe or open new wormholes.

With nothing else to do, all remaining humans were set with what was left to investigate and find a solution.

THE MEETING

The emergency council was quickly voted under a classic democratic poll; among thousands of candidates, ten were chosen to sit on the round table and direct the meeting. Brain used to do these by itself, but due to the circumstances, the meeting was preferred to be conducted by humans, in case it was the last meeting. The ones selected were among the most dedicated to knowledge humans, the wisest people in the cosmos which have experienced on average around 60.000 years of living without discarding their memories.

The altered-perception ambience was set in the planet earth, commonly known as the bassinet, specifically in Australia, at a place called The Twelve Apostles, among the limestone stacks the round table was set twenty one feet over the water. Billions of humans were spectating the meeting. The rays of sun were warm, and the salty smell of the ocean calmed the tension.

Marcus Aurelius started the meeting “What is meant to happen, it will happen. Glorious fellows, I have seen tremendous threads during my lifetime, and in those moments none of them seems to have an apparent solution, a long time ago, I was named emperor of a realm that it seems it would never fell, and I died believing it, but with time, that empire died as well, and everything I knew died too, and so, hate and evil died, they could not stand the race against time, but there is something that never died, it was our will to resist the adversity, against the odds, we learned to love each other, to extend kindness and humbleness before anything, these qualities allow humanity to survive, and just like the phoenix, allow us to reborn. We are the human beings, and we do not surrender, it is time to execute our capacity to find solutions, fate had settle what we have to confront this situation: our essence, and that is all we need until our last second, and If fate had lead us to our end, we die together”

“Thank you, Grand Wise Aurelius” Zenmaster Coeus said, and then looked at the heart-shaped locket around the neck of Jacob who was sitting in front of him. “Grand Wise Jacob, it has been brought to our attention that 72 hours ago the system in your node had declared you dead for around three seconds, you were found by Grand Wise Luna with an unhealed bruised in you feet, when you were inspected, Brain found that your body did not have nanobots anymore, and your DNA turn in their natural conditions, can you explain how did you ended up in your original body?”

“What if it is too late to die?” Jacob said, “I was in…”

Something happened, there was nothing anymore, the universe vanished, and then…

Big bang.
