When the dust cleared, it was revealed that the original victors were still victorious, though with significantly fewer casualties and an earlier ending to the battle. The time traveler's influence was praised by both sides and from that point on, it was noted that the battle would end much faster and with far less losses.

The time traveler was celebrated for his successful alteration of history and was revered for the good that his efforts did for both sides. He traveled home satisfied and proud of the work he had done and from that day forward, it was believed that time travel could truly shape the future.
