Your guide to the world’s coolest and most secret travel destinations of 2024? From record-breaking marvels to tourist traps, these are the places we have searched the world to bring to you that will have you exclaiming wow and crack up laughing, and any selfies taken in the spin will be blurry!! Pack your bags, pack your laughter, and then let’s hit the road, shall we?

1. Moonland, USA - It gets better than this but not so near the moon.

Just how VFP works: Why spend billions going to space when you can visit Moonland? Looking for a dungeree? Then this place is for you: in Nevada, there are no people, no houses, only craters and rocks, and no Wi-Fi. Suddenly, that great idea for a project at school just turned into the world’s worst case of zero-gravity training! This location lets you even dress up in a tinfoil spacesuit and act like an astronaut by taking photos in the moonwalk. There is nothing else around, hence there will be no one who will ‘jump’ in front of our picture. Also, it is free of menacing moon monsters – only strange earth creatures who will likely invite you to tea and maybe a flappy, bopping dance.

Finally, at night albeit the cloudy sky the view of the stars is amazing. Of course, you will witness constellations you have never heard before, and such marvelous circumstances will allow you to chat with complete strangers about what matters in life. Please arrive with your telescope and in your best disposition to be awed.

2. Cheeseville, Switzerland, part 1 – Doomsday in Gouda Times

And if you like cheese who does not? Cheeseville is a place that eats lover would not want to miss. It has been rightly nicknamed ‘the town of cheese and wine’ thanks to its varieties of cheeses, wines and chocolates. Fondue fountains? Check. Cheese-shaped buildings? You bet. Lactose intolerance? Better bring some pills. It is the only area where one is expected to utter the line, ‘That’s too much cheese. ’

It is common to find that people in Cheeseville are celebrating cheese festivals all year long. Dine in the cheese room try over 300 varieties of cheese, take a cheese rolling competition or take a cheese making class. This must see involves the locals wearing cheesy outfits and there is even a float parade complete with a crowning of the Cheese King and Queen. Well, it is finally the right time for everyone because it was really a gouda time.

3. Another walk of fame was done in Dino Park, Argentine because dinosaurs are cool, though the creation of the park itself is questionable.

Welcome yourself to Dino Park where you are likely to encounter the kindred of one of the most fearsome dinosaur species, the T-Rex. Well, yes, they are kind of life-sized and totally nondescript but your followers do not ever have to be told that. Shout loud at the top of your lungs and look at your noise travel or the number of mouths you’ve shut by scaring the growing number of kids. An extra 5 points if you dress yourself in a dinosaur costume and try to ‘fight’ with the statues by dancing.

Dinosaurs are featured in the park have moving structures that look realistic with actual sounds of dinosaurs. You can go for a fossil hunting exercise, ride through a jeep through what has been described as a ‘Jurassic jungle’, and watch performances associated withdinosaurs. During the night, perhaps, the light brings the dinosours to the life in some other style than the rest of the day. If hungry, don’t miss the place called the Dino Café because they have a really delicious thing called a prehistoric burger!

4. Pancake Mountain, considered as one of the ‘greatest places on earth’ of course offers flippin’ good views of this pancake shaped mountain in Canada.

This one is for all the fans of pancakes and mountains, which together may seem a little weird but who are we to say so? It’s a tradition that every Friday morning the town provides free pancakes at the peak. The catch? You have to walk there if you are planning to visit that place. But we have to tell you, syrup is wetter at 3,000 feet. Now you may wonder, and yes, the bears do feast on what is left after our extravaganza.

Expertly, one can hike up Pancake Mountain and come across informational signs contanining pancake-related facts and signs. The biggest is a mountain top diner called Pancake Peak Diner, a tip that serves flannel pancakes and buckets of syrup. This involves eating pancakes and there is also pancake show where people bring their pancakes after making art on them, there is also a pancake relay race. The top model is certainly stunning to behold, and while admiring the view, one can always have a bite of a scrumptious stack. So you have to be careful about maple syrup hands – bees are attracted to them!

5. Quirkytown, Japan - Its Hip to Be Squamish

As for Quirkytown? It doesn’t officially exist, or at least the authorities don’t acknowledge that it does – but you can bet your boots that you’ll know it when you’re there. This town was the offline version of when the internet was created and a town was made. Robo-cafes, cat-branded products, and capsule hotels and vending machines for everything in between. You may come back from work with a robot cat that has the ability and smart sense to make you coffee. No guarantees.

Quirkytown is the locality which can turn each street and corner into a magical fairy tale moment. Among those are the street in which the only allowed movement is walking backward, the café possessing ninjas as waiters, and the park that has the playground equipped with outstanding pieces created by the most original artists of the Postmodernist style. The people have perverted customs, as for example the Giant Robot Parade and the Cat Cosplay Festival. Do not leave without visiting a themed hotel where you can have a night in a decorated jungle, space, a shoe and so much more.

Therefore, from wanting to go to the moon, to get some cheese, or enjoy having some dinosaur fun time, to wanting some high pancakes, or simply to unleash your inner weirdo, 2024 is here for you. Despite this, These destinations are not just places to take pictures; you will have stories that will make your friends die of laughter for years. Happy travels!
