Language plays a very important role in everyone's life, from the time they are born to the time they grow up. With the aid of word sounds, short sentences, long sentences and grammar, otherwise fragmented language comes together into clear and precise verbal expressions.

Normally, a child's language skills are basically developed around the age of three, when they are able to use complex grammar and long sentences to express themselves, to distinguish between "you, me, and others", and to understand the logical relationships in language. But what is the problem if some children do not speak by the age of three or four?

The vast majority of children start to say vague syllables such as "baba", "mama", etc. at around eight or nine months of age, but at this time they are only passively vocalizing and do not know the correct pronunciation and use of these syllables. It is not until after the age of two or three that children are able to develop a more complex understanding of common word sounds, as they understand the relationship between the logic of language.

With the development of society, more and more families nowadays have a "4+2+1" model, that is, four elderly people, one couple and one child. This common family model certainly allows the elderly to be taken care of, but then the children are spoiled by the four elderly, which is not a good thing to know.

The lack of knowledge about parenting and health makes it difficult for many seniors to detect hidden language problems in their children, such as delayed language development, which they see as "late speech" and language disorders, which they consider to be normal.

The elderly think they can see that the child will "become a great success", but not only has the child not yet become a success, but the language problem has already exhausted the family. In fact, their approach is contrary to the principle of "early detection and early correction" of language correction, and I would like to advise parents that they must check their children's abnormal expressions in time to avoid delaying the best correction time.

Sometimes it is difficult for parents and the elderly to notice the occurrence of language problems, which may be related to the rapid development of language in children, after all, a change in language over time makes it difficult for parents to distinguish which is a normal performance and which is abnormal.

Children's language development is actually quite fast, and it doesn't take long for their perception of language to change from individual words to complete sentences, so many parents are surprised to find that their child's language expression has changed considerably almost "overnight". "Today" is not very clear, but "tomorrow" is clear all of a sudden.

In fact, this change is not exaggerated, because children's language development before the age of three or four is so high-speed, especially after entering the age of three or four, children's language accumulation to a certain extent will be qualitative changes, this change may seem exaggerated, but in fact in line with the laws of children's language development.

Some may ask, "Is there any connection between this change and a child's inability to speak?"

Of course there is a connection. What are the prominent signs of a child's inability to speak? It is the confusion of language logic and unclear language expression. For example, they can't tell the difference between "you, me, and him", nor do they know the relationship between "eat" and things, let alone the clarity of pronunciation.

Many parents like to let their children learn a lot of things at a very young age, in the name of "winning at the starting line". I understand the parents' desire to make their children better, but there is an upper limit to a child's ability to understand, and forcing a child to learn something that doesn't belong to him at this stage is counterproductive.

It's true that children aged two, three and four can learn advanced vocabulary and more complex words and sentences, but that doesn't mean that they can accept knowledge that is not based on hardwired knowledge. The consequence of this is that it leads to language problems, such as children becoming non-verbal.
