The House

This is the story of a house built by an Engineer for his beloved family in the city of Lahore, Pakistan. A large family of 15 members was to take residence in it and eventually after completion, they moved in. The move was not entirely very difficult as they were living in the neighboring house. So one fine day, all of the family packed their belongings and shifted very quietly and peacefully.

At first, the house was full of joy and love. The family's laughter and the sound of children running around made it a warm and happy place. However, the family didn't know that the house was built on a piece of land with a mysterious past. According to local stories, it was once a graveyard..

Strange things started happening in the house. Belongings would disappear without explanation, only to reappear when asked for gently. These occurrences seemed harmless at first, but they started to escalate, revealing a malevolent force within the walls.

During the nights, the family could hear the eerie sound of chains dragging across the floors, accompanied by faint cries that sent shivers down their spines. It felt as if the house itself was haunted, connected to the spirits from the old burial ground. The irony was that only a few members of the family would hear the creepy sounds in the night and some members had no clue of the proceedings.
