Humanity begins at home.
memories of my childhood
The days of being a teenager never seems to leave my mind even as an middle age fifty four year old man. As I stand here thinking about all the memories of being on holidays, my mind races back to this picture which I still have in my picture album back at home on my author’s office desk.

Grandfather's Ambrosia
I sit at my grandfather’s desk, in his house, his garden, his home. He is alive around me. I took a moment to stroll where he may have walked. I saw the world with his eyes. I stopped intuitively at different moments, looking at a flower here, a tree there. I saw his care and character in each present living thing that exists in his garden. Even under duress without his constant touch, his life is strong in its contribution. His legacy continuing to touch the present moment in daily life; none more present than being amongst the plants, soil and growth he nurtured. The rocks he carefully and meticulously placed with purpose behind each placement so that even the unmoving would move people with an image of who he is.

How do you describe love in the '80s?
When I talk about "love" at the age of 19, I can only be regarded as a childish face. There is no puppy love, no first love, no ambiguity, and naturally there is no love. Can only say that I am a "expect" Plato type love, from now to the once upon a time, I did not encounter too me is perfect individual, I can understand, but still can't do tolerance and accommodation of the eternal, although everything seems to be is my "wishful thinking" unilateral idea, but I always questioned how two individuals together, And have depended on each other for half a lifetime or more... I think this lack of confidence and uncertainty about the future is a big reason for the emergence of marriage phobes. The reason why Mr. Zheng's Love in the 1980s does not have a perfect romantic ending is that I think this "lack of confidence" and "fear of the unknown" are accomplices. The age can suppress people's growth, growth can suppress people's thoughts, and thoughts can suppress the burst of love.

How I Can Predict If a New Marriage Will Work or Fail. Top Story - August 2022.
One thing I’ve always been good at is knowing whether a relationship will usually work out long-term or not. This is often possible to figure out once I hang around the two people in the relationship at least a couple or few times. I can remember every wedding I’ve attended where I thought about if the couple had a good chance of making it long-term, or if a divorce was imminent.

A Claim of Identity
I was pregnant, sitting in the passenger seat of the car whilst my father drove in somberness. “She was such a quiet pretty thing” my father sadly recounted. “And then she turned into this…” he shuddered in disbelief at what was happening against the backdrop of a grey drizzle wet day, where even the sound of traffic outside us was subdued to a whisper, punctuated with the smearing wiper blades that counted down with the clock to our unwanted destination.
