Personally, I think that letters are very important in our lives every day. How do I know that? Guess what I am using letters right now to write this.

Letters date back to the Caveman times. I think. They would write things on the walls of their caves and people would translate them so they knew what they wanted and needed at that time.

As time went on we would form a system that we could form words called the alphabet. Outhe t of the alphabet we use A, E, I, O, and U and sometimes we use the letter Y as vowels.

The largest place to find letters that form a word is a dictionary. From one letter to many letters. The first dictionary must have been a small one since we were learning to spell and needed more letters to talk to people.

Some people can use their hands to talk to people by spelling words out. It is called sign language. The most famous woman to use sign language was Helen Keller.

I am using that form of collecting letters into words to write my ideas down on this piece of paperwork.

Another type of using letters is composing music such as A#, B#, C. It takes of a lot skills to compose music.

Before the age of emails, we used pens and pencils to write letters to other people and correspond to people.

Just look at your keyboard. What do you see? Letters that will help you make up your term paper etc.

Telegrams are another way that we use letters to from messages to friends and family etc. Telegrams would be transmitted to people on the other end of the line. A telegram is the way the Armed Services would tell family members that your love might have been killed or MIA.

Morse code would be used during the war to send war plans and messages to our friends and family. Even those Morse codes used dots and dashes. These dots and dashes formed letters to make messages. Sometimes this message would fall into emeries hands because they have crashed the code that people were using.

As you can see we have come a long way since the writing and drawings on the walls of Caveman's Cave form people.

We use letters every day. From simple things like watching television. Look at signs on the door and billboards on the side of the road as we drive by.

Can you imagine driving down the roads and looking at pictures to tell you where are you to go as you drive? If we can't use cell phones while we drive how can we look at pictures on billboards and signs as we drive?

Directions are also made up of letters. Can you imagine looking at a recipe? to bake a cake or put a piece of furniture together? That would be so weird. But some directions just use pictures to put things together along these words.

I almost forgot that we use words t0 make up different languages. Spanish, French, and other ones.

You can say that letters that form words make the world go around. I think that it would be a different world if we used a different type of communication to talk to people.

Where would we be without letters to make of words? I think that it would be a different type of world. Just pictures everywhere to talk and go places.

Just think once again it begins with several cavemen drawing on their walls in the cave.

I know that I would be able to write this message today.

So much appreciation for something we totally take for granted. Makes me miss writing actual letters to appreciate the language more.
