Being able to leave for a year seemed crazy to many people around us. First of all because of the children's school. They will do their 4th, secondary 1 and 3 on the road. what better, in my opinion, to learn without compromises and scheduling conflicts!

Then work. For my part, I have two jobs. One as an employee and the other as a self-employed person. after many reflections, we quickly realize that for one as for the other, taking a break can be very beneficial. not only, this break will allow me to resume coming back with a new vision, clearer of what I really want with my business and if I still need this second job… If yes, I intend to reshape it to my image …

We are 5. Which means 5 ways to see this trip. During this project several aspects will be put forward, by each member of our family. For my part, I will travel the roads of North and Central America with the primary objective of taking photography and teaching it to my 3 children. I would like to introduce them to portrait, reportage and landscape photography and maybe manage to give them the bite. I'm going on an adventure. I also think that I will be able to learn more about my family, who are really my children, their dreams, but above all their strengths.

Seeing life through children's eyes

we are ready to get to know them better and understand life as they see it

Raphael

Raphaël, The Elder, is passionate about technology, lifestyle scooters and BMX. he will be looking for new playgrounds to perfect his prowess. He would like, during this trip, to discover unusual places and be able to capture them to share them with a larger number of people. he will learn to master video in order to create a complete and attractive travel blog for all those who will follow us during the adventure. Whether through images or amateur videos. an incredible opportunity to learn new visual art technologies. For him, routine has always been essential in his life. Since the beginning of his adolescence he had to learn autonomy. rather difficult learning especially on the educational level.at school, not always easy to do his work when he has the possibility of postponing it… We hope to help him to organize himself better, without the constraints of the standard school as he knows it .

Jérémy

my son, Jérémy Dion, lover and lover of football, will take the opportunity to perfect his training through the different places visited. he discovered football 1 year ago, has received numerous prizes from the Laval Dragons and the Alouettes. He practices this sport, summer and winter, as an active player, but also as a volunteer coach. its primary objective is to make a career in this sport. He would like to be able to return from this trip with a personalized training plan that he may later be able to teach others. but above all, we hope it will regain a little faith in humanity. Social issues concern him a lot and being a lover of flora and fauna, everyday news reminds him of the nonsense of man.

Marilou

marilou, the youngest of the troop, always accompanied by our faithful companion Kira, english shepherd of 6 years old, would like to put forward the well-being of the planet and make people aware of the environmental challenges and the future that we waits.

Frederickmy spouse, Frédéric Dion, manager, salesman by profession and wood worker, in addition to being trilingual, musician, and lover of driving, will travel the roads, approaching our vehicle pulling a 32-foot trailer. he wants to share his passions through exchanges and knowledge sharing. A traveler at heart, traveling has been part of his life for a long time. this need to move, to meet cultures and corners of countries with unique landscapes, far from humans ...
