I have visited Bali in the month of April, 2019. My travel itenary is for 5N/ 6D and the total cost of trip for 2Pax is INR 1,20,000.

Major chunk of my budget is eaten by Air tickets. Yes it costed me INR 56,000 from Mumbai, as I opted Singapore Airlines. One can find relatively less expensive travel option by opting Air Asia.

Hotels and villas in Bali are reasonably priced. We can rent a cab for 8hrs at just INR 1000. One can rent a two wheeler at just INR 350/ day.

Tasteful vegetarian food is little difficult to find. So we have carried ready to food packages from India. Good number of Indian restaurants are available in Kuta but the prices are on higher side.

International fast food chains like KFC, McD has outlets in Bali but they serve only Non Vegetarian menu. Don’t forget to try food items from the menu which are not available here.

Do carry sunscreen as you are prone to skin burns.

What is the detailed Bali itinerary for 5-6 days from India?

This was my first international trip with my best friends. One of my friends was getting married, so I would call it the cliché bachelor's trip, but it was more of a reunion in a foreign land.

We booked our flight tickets a couple of months in advance, but it still costed us ~37k round trip (Delhi --> Bali --> Delhi). Below is the itinerary we followed in a nutshell (I will go through it in detail later in the article):

I booked flights via Malindo Airlines in about Rs. 22,000 for both of us, from Mumbai. (Booking your flights in advance may save you a lot of money.)

Before going to Bali I was googled for things to do in Bali and if I could get some great deals for activities. I came across a few platforms like MakeMyTrip, Klook, Leamigo, Viator and more.

Out of all these websites, the one with the most affordable prices was Leamigo. They have great deals and cheaper prices for various tours and things to do.

As other writers have correctly pointed out, most of the tour cost would be spent on flight fares, hence start planning your trip at least 4–5 months in advance.

On an average, you can get airfares at approx 22000 Per Person (Ex Mumbai) on Malindo which would include checked in luggage as well. You can opt for other carriers like Malaysian, Singapore Airlines etc.

You have a choice of staying all 6 nights at 1 hotel / resort or try staying at different locations. Major tourist friendly locations in Bali are Kuta, Ubud, Seminyak & Nusa Dua.

The biggest expense is air tickets. Rest depends on what sort of hotel or resort you want to stay at. If you want an exotic experience, go for the W, The Mulia, Novotel, something extreme exotic go for Bvlgari Resort. It’s a paradise.

Also, do not forget to visit “The Rock Bar”. Seeing is believing!

Bali is a place, where one should soak into one of the best resort properties in the Nusa Dua area. It’s magical.

It's been ecstatic to be in Bali for around 5 days in last year for us . It has left us with sense of ancient culture, being alive on streets with mouth watering food options . The budget for the trip has various component to get covered & the crucial ones are below :-

Airfare is the most heavy component of trip which is approximation of 56–60K for couple

Accommodation is under comfortable budget you can get 3 star hotel at busy kutta street or any other place in around 20K for 7 days

Food available under INR 700–1000 for the day

Exploring City will however cost you more than 3000 INR per day on taxi

Other Expenses will get settle under INR 3000–5000

I am confident that trip shall get executed in 1.2 lacs -1.5 lacs easily with all fun activities of Bali .

Note :- Vegetarian food options are available and currency of Indonesia is confusing since you will be dealing in lacs for even buying breads .
