Dua For Love Between Husband And Wife

It is Allah who made our union pure with love, compassion and tenderness. Love and respect should lie down in the basis of their marriage which should let them both to live well and be happy. On the other hand, having issues such as arguments, quarrels or misunderstandings between spouses does not necessarily mean the end of the relationship as long as there is an effort to pull down the wall.

Dua is a mode of seeking Allah's help when life is tough. Dua(supplications) is a dynamic and enlivening factor, which ushers peace and unity in relationships of partners.

"O our Lord, spare us from the spouses and children who have affected our sight and lead us to members of al-Muttaqeen."

Translation: "Lord be merciful to us and give us good wives and children through which our eyes will become peaceful and we will be as the chosen ones."

Recite this application continuously to supplicate Allah and to make it [marriage life] full of love, affection and comprehension.

"Poverty shall be eliminated, and everywhere will be seen clear eyes, without tear."

Translation: "Well, yes, my lord, I'm certainly; Thanks for the good that you did for me, when I was desperate."

May you remember that there is no matter too big or relationship too challenging that God is not prepared to help you.

"And now I pray thereby for what is the best of this night and what is the best of the coming night and I beseech of You to give me protection from this harm of the night and the harm of the coming night."

Translation: "Oh Allah! I need Your goodness for this night and goodness of the affairs that will happen after it and entrust my safety to You against the evil of this night and of whatever will happen after it.”

Humanize the given sentence.

What should be stressed here is that istikhramah is a tool of turning to Allah for His guidance and help in every aspect of life, be it relationships with others or personal issues. Consequently, they must make sincere efforts to treat them as the foundations of intimacy and connection in their wedding life. May Allah be with every wedding that is full of love, peace, and harmony.

In Islam, the stronger and more intimate relationship between husband and wife is specifically encouraged and enjoined. The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said, "The best of you is he who is best to his wife and I am the best to my wives". This translates to the fact that you should be caring, loving and kind to your spouse.

On the other hand, like any other relationship, a couple have to navigate obstacles and challenges that come in between. In times of challenge, asking for help from Allah by performing dua (supplication) is a strong way of bringing love, peace, and mutual understanding back into the relationship.
