You just found out you and your beautiful significant other are going to have a baby. What an amazing and exciting time. However, there is so much to think about and so much to prepare for. But you will have time to think about that later on.

So, for now, Dads, this message is for you. It is your opportunity to shine! Show her how amazing you can be, how supportive you can be, and how much you love and care for her.

There are some very important things you can do as her partner and the baby's father to be sure these next 274 days go smoothly. One thing to keep in mind is it may take a few times for your kindness to be accepted. But keep trying and don't give up. For one minute put yourself in her shoes, being pregnant is a wonderful time for her, but at the same time, she is growing a little human inside of her, and It is not an easy or comfortable thing to do. So, If you are sensitive to that, then your efforts will go a long way.

She realizes you have to work every day, and I am sure she is grateful for that, but before work, after work, and on the weekends, she will most likely need your help. She is probably also working, and trying her best to stay up on the household chores, and be a good mom to the children you two may already have at home. Little acts of kindness will go along way! I assure you. Like i said before, don't get discouraged if it takes a couple of times to get it right! She will soon see your efforts and be grateful for them.

Relationships are a team effort, what better time to help each other out? She is doing something amazing and carrying your perfect baby in her belly. So, by showing her what you are capable of now will make her realize what an incredible father you are going to be. Most women love a strong, sensitive, warm-hearted, loving man who will do anything for her.

During pregnancy, there are a lot of different emotions women go through. A lot of the time, she may feel pretty miserable. Her body is changing, and hormones are all over the place, there's nausea, tiredness, and morning sickness. She may also get extra clingy, over-emotional, sad one minute, happy and laughing the next, easily annoyed, hungry, and having some weird cravings, so this is when she needs that extra love from you.

Here are some things you could do for her:

-Give her positive attention.

-A whole lot of love, hugs, kisses, and snuggles.

-Emotional support is significant right now.

-Listen, let her cry on you if she needs to.

-Be there.

-Be sweet and kind.

-Help out around the house, laundry, dishes, or help out with the little ones you may already have at home.

-Go to doctor's appointments, ultrasounds, and all doctor appointments if you can.

-Help with the registry and preparing the baby's room.

-Massages are also great. Especially foot massages.

Whatever you feel you can do to help her out will undoubtedly be a huge help, especially if she does not have to ask you to do it. It will be even more special. She will be so grateful and remember how helpful you were during this time.

Remember, don't get upset if your first attempt does not go well! Give it a little time and try again. But do not give up. Try to understand what she is going through and be sensitive to that. Some days she may want some alone time, and that is entirely normal.

Thank you for reading guys!

Be sure to keep checking in. I will have another BLOG up soon, letting you know how to help out once the baby has arrived.
