Tabitha Stephens played by Joey King is high school freshman whose are all her life has been following her mother rule not use her magic in public but Things start changing in school when Tabitha falls in love with a high school senior name Harvey Tate but when Harvey's longtime cheerleader girlfriend Sabrina played by Bella Throne gets wind of it decides to make Tabitha's life hell and bulling her. Tabitha tries to go to her mother Samantha (played by Nicole Kidman) for help but she is still mourning her father Darrin's death which was caused by Cancer but Tabitha tried to get her magic to heal her father but its backfire and its made it worse which made him suffer and beg Samantha to kill him. So Tabitha goes to her Aunt Serena to turn the tables on her bulling classmates.

But When Sabrina figures out that witchcraft is being used to torment her friends Sabrina starts her own investigation to finding the witch. Sabrina who also comes from a long line of witches and warlocks and has been living in secret for centuries. What Sabrina doesn't know her family and Tabitha are actually distant cousins are apart of the same bloodline but during the Salem Witch Trials Sabrina's great great grandmother Justine as a teenager set up innocent women who became guilty as witches to drawn the scent away from her coven of witches but Tabitha's great great grandmother Mary Ann who at the time was Justine's First Cousin/best friend conscience was getting to her and she was trying to undermined Justine's plan to accused more innocent girls so Mary Ann would exposed Justine's plan and her lies to the Mayor of the Village.

Justine would be burn at stake and her coven and Justine's older sister Sabrina who Sabrina would be named after would exact revenge on Mary Ann by having a secret meeting and ritual killing her and sacrifing her soul to the Devil. Which The Families wore tore in two and throughout the years and they would feud for decades Until the 1929s during the roaring 20s Clara Montgomery, Tabitha's grand aunt who was living is Chicago at the time and was a mistress of Al Capone and was working in a brothel during a shootout a unknown new girl jump in front of a hail of bullets and shielded Clara in a few others with her magic and the unknown girl magically made them forget but Clara didn't forget. The Unknown girl ask her is she a witch and Clara said Yes and The Unknown girl Introduces herself as Lydia Patrick who is Sabrina's grandmother.

They quickly becomes friends and decided to leave Chicago and goes on many of adventures but that another story. Decade Later They would find out that they are in fact related are apart of feuding families but due to Lydia saving Clara's life there was a truce between each other. They embrace their family bloodline and They love been known as cousins. A few years would go by Lydia would fall in love with traveling salesman who happening to be a warlock named Eddie Spellman Sr. but what is not known is Clara was also in love with the same man bud Eddie would end of choosing Lydia over her. They eventually would go on and get married and have children while Aunt Clara would only end of having many relationships but never any kids and never be married.

Back in present time Sabrina figures out that Tabitha is caused of all carnage but her Aunt Hilda and Zelda gets involved and let Sabrina if she fights Tabitha she will reignite the blood feud between them But Grand Aunt Clara and Aunt Serena wants this to happened buts its takes Samantha to step in erased the damage that Tabitha has done but this is just the First Movie of a Trilogy
