Innovated Renovation Ideas

If you are considering the design of your kitchen cabinets, you must be in the midst of a kitchen renovation or developing a house with a brand-new kitchen. It goes without saying that when building a home, you begin from the beginning. When redesigning your kitchen, you should reorganize your cabinets to make them more useful for your needs. With a new layout, you might be able to make much better use of the available space in your kitchen, giving the impression that it's larger.

1. Combine Open Shelving With Closed Cabinets

Either open shelving or closed cabinets are not required in your kitchen. You can easily combine the two if doing so will provide you with more storage. By incorporating a few open shelves into an area that would otherwise be wasted space, you can turn it into a space that is functional for your needs.

2. Construct Two Rows Of Upper Cabinets

Most homeowners have cabinets along the bottom and top of their kitchens, just like you. However, the space between those top cabinets and the ceiling, which is where the cabinets end, is typically empty. One option is to put a few emotional items there, but another is to add a second row of smaller cabinets there. The crockery you don't use frequently during the year can then be stored in these kitchen cupboards.

3. Build Cabinets Beneath The Island's Dining Area

Even though cabinets are typically found below kitchen islands, the area under the dining room often has no storage. Adding cabinets there will allow you to have smaller, more functional cabinets than the customary large and deep ones seen on many islands.

4. Install Kitchen Cabinets Above appliances

If you were to place wall ovens, microwaves, or even a pantry over each of these things, there would be a ton of space. We recommend placing cabinets over such areas to add even additional storage.

Unica Concept understands that you won't want to keep items you use frequently in such cabinets. However, you can still make use of them for sporadic usage items. Additionally, you won't need to go to a different spot outside of your kitchen to store those items.

5. Utilize Those Smaller Spaces

Pullout cabinets of various sizes can be utilized in the tiny space between the dishwasher's end and a cabinet or the space between the sink and a cabinet. A spice rack's smallest pull-out measures 3". These cabinets could just be big enough to keep spices or canned goods.

However, you might find that there is enough space for a pull-out cabinet that will hold your garbage and recycling bins. You can do almost anything with pullout cabinets, and you won't regret fitting them all into the available space.

6. Construct A Single Or Two Glass Doors For Kitchen Cabinets

You might be tempted to hide things in the cupboards in your kitchen. However, we strongly advise you to consider installing one or more glass cabinet doors. The contents of a glass door can offer a pop of color to the inside, breaking up the monotony of a wall of cabinets.

The cabinets with glass doors are perfect for storing valuable items. We suggest installing lighting on the cabinet to add aesthetic appeal even when the rest of the room is entirely dark.

7. Add A Cabinet Or Two To The Pass-through For The Kitchen

The pass-through in your dining room or living room may seem great when it is open. But that shouldn't stop you from installing a couple of cupboards there. We do not recommend putting cabinets to the top of the pass-through because doing so will make the area look small and uninviting. But adding a cabinet to the side that can be accessed from both rooms is a terrific way to make this space more functional.

Here are seven of the best ideas for the perfect kitchen cabinet layout. You don't have to use all of these recommendations if you're considering changing the design of your kitchen cabinets. Keep these in mind and use the ones that make the most sense to you for all of your culinary needs. Before you start redesigning your kitchen, these decisions must be made because it will be impossible to change your mind after the cabinets have been replaced.
