Egyptian Food:
Egypt is known for its great history and its amazing ancient civilization they are also known for the food. In Egypt they can eat a lot of weird food without realizing how weird it is. For instance "Kawara" which is cow feet. Kawara is chewy, soft, with a bone in the middle and it actually tastes better than what you would think it would taste like, I totally recommend trying it. They also have another very common dish called "halaweyat" which is a mix of liver, kidney, heart and a piece of fat. I personally enjoy it, its just amazing. The moment it enters my mouth an ocean of flavor enters floats in my mouth. Egyptian food can be weird for other cultures but I still love it.
FUN FACT : Egyptian cuisine makes heavy use of poultry, legumes, vegetables and fruit from Egypt's rich Nile Valley and Delta.
Russian food:
Although Russia is not known as a place with weird food however i can blow your mind with some of the weirdest dishes they have.In Russia they like to add sauces to any food. Such as jelly meat + mustard. This dish is called Kholodets and Zalivoneo It might seem weird but it is actually not that bad it is actually good. This food is a weird combination. They also have an addiction to drink vodka and when i say addiction i mean it, they literally make everything with it. They also have a very famous recipe of making brownies with vodka.
FUN FACT : Vodka is drunk everywhere, with the intention of breaking down inhibitions and producing a state of conviviality Russians refer to as dusha-dushe (soul-to-soul).
Japanese Food:
Japan is an amazing country. They are just to smart and futuristic. They are also known for their great technology, but most importantly the food! Japan are known for their Sushi. If you don't know what that is. Then your living under a rock. There are alot of kinds of sushi but most of them share one thing in common which is "raw" Sushi is made out raw fish specifically tuna and salmon. Sushi can come with rice and seaweed, rice only, with wasabi and much more.
FUN FACT : While Japan is certainly the sushi capital of the world and responsible for introducing the dish to travelers, sushi traces its origins back to a Chinese dish called narezushi.
Thai Food :
Thai food might be the weirdest to ever exist. Like imagine eating fried frog or red ant egg. No offense but I personally feel that food like this food makes me feel disgusted but I know that there are a bunch of people that would like to eat it. When Thai people want protein they go to insects. One of my friends went there before and saw something that looks like meat on the menu and he wanted to try it so he got it and felt it tasted weird so he asked what was it they told him its dog meat! After that he spent 2 days straight throwing up.
FUN FACT : Thai people have a tradition of eating Ab Ong Or (Northern Thai Roasted Pork Brain) ,and take the blood to make Lou (Northern Thai Raw Pig Blood Soup).
To sum it up I wanna say that food can differ from country to country and they all have their own ways and recipes which I think is really unique and that's something that I really like.
