Talking to the Greatest Minds

The world is full of many talents unknown and the graveyard full of treasures to behold. According to Les Brown “the graveyard is the richest place on earth, because it is here that you will find all the hopes and dreams that were never fulfilled, the books that were never written, the songs that were never sung, the inventions that were never shared, the cures that were never discovered, all because someone was too afraid.” This is one of the truest statements I have ever heard. I want you to sit for a moment and think of how much treasures have claimed by the grave. This so called treasures of which are unknown would have been very vital to mankind. And of this treasure there is one I deem the greatest. Let's find out which of these treasures as we read.

Why the graveyard ?

The graveyard is full of dead people as you know. My reason for bring up the graveyard is for you my dear reader . There are many great thinkers of old and many more in this 21st century. The major way to access the minds of those great thinkers is through their books, memos, notes. Through these document we would be able to access their thoughts, perspective, knowledge. This said book contains the outcomes of the use on the knowledge acquired. A book is what to be mans greatest invention . Which is my believe but I doubt most people will agree . That brings us to the next question dear reader.

Why talk to the greatest minds ?

As I said earlier knowledge is power but the real power comes from how you use the knowledge . Do you know that everyone wants power ? Power comes in different forms. For he who wants power he must get knowledge first and take action. Because having knowledge without using it is like have having food without appetite. The struggle for power is continuous and never ending . For that reason there needs to be struggle for knowledge. And that knowledge combined with action will give you the appropriate power.

Why read books ?

As I had stated earlier books contain knowledge that can give you power. There many other ways to get knowledge but i deem books the best. Reason being that it is better to learn from other people experiences than yours. Risk wise it is safe because you tend to gain knowledge of how the outcome will be but not withstanding take risk but calculated ones. There are books on about every major aspect of daily life in the world and also on all the different topics you know and don't know. We are in the information age where knowledge is very powerful if used wisely. With knowledge comes great power and power is what ever man sought for . So why not get the knowledge and be powerful ?

How do you get the power you want ?

You get it buy talking to the greatest minds of this century and the ones before . As for me since I can’t talk to them in person the only way available is through their their books . The knowledge is in there waiting for you and you alone to get it. Knowledge is not easy to get but once you get it it lasts for a lifetime. Acquiring of knowledge takes time and devotion. In that sense dear readers beware of quick knowledge because it lead to quick failure. But always remember that knowledge acquired is knowledge forever . Well I too have a goal I want to achieve so follow along on the journey to my goal.
