Onsego is an online GED prep program that helps students prepare for the GED test. The GED test checks knowledge and skills in four subject areas: language arts, math, science, and social studies. To give you an idea of how Onsego works, let's take a closer look:

Onsego's GED prep course is all about content. The course covers all the subjects and topics tested in the GED exam and it includes video lessons and really a lot of practice questions with comprehensive explanations.

This course easy to use and navigate; everything is logically organized and you have no problem figuring out what to do next.

There is a chat available on every page and if you have questions, you can reach out to the support team at anytime. They respond quickly.

When you join this course, you can learn on your computer or on any mobile device. The mobile version is very user-friendly and you can switch between devices and your progress goes with you.

There is no separate Onsego app, which I think is a pity. I'd like to have an app, and the people behind Onsego should perhaps think about creating one.

Onsego is a self-paced GED course that provides access to learning materials for 6 months, but they also offer a 12-month plan for people who need more time. The course includes 420 on-demand video lessons that are short but full of information and learning is quick.

I like the fact that you can consume these video lesssons so quickly. Every lesson has a quiz and later, there are longer practice tests that tell you if you are likely to pass the GED test.

This is very useful because sometimes you don't need to learn everything and just go over the lessons quicly if you have a green score. A green score means you are ready to pass the test.

There are a lot of positive reviews about this course and I can personally confirm that Onsego is effective. My Language Arts score improved from 134 points to 167. The passing score is 145 and I got more than 20 points above it!

One more plus of Onsego is that its comprehensive programs include four vouchers for the GED Ready test. This is the official practice test developed by GED Testing Service.

If you want to take the GED exam online, you only qualify if you reach passing scores on this practice tests that usually cost $6,99 each (you'll have to buy four practice tests, one for each GED subtest).

So if you register for the GED prep course from Onsego, you'll get a $28 bonus free! The course additionally includes a motivation course, a GED math calculator course, and more.

The Onsego price is affordable. It costs $79 for all subjects and you can access your lessons and practice tests for 6 months.

Here is a short list of the most popular and effective GED courses and their prices.

  • Onsego GED Prep costs $79 for 6 months
  • Kaplan GED Live costs $258 for 6 months
  • GED Plus costs $389 for 6 months

Onsego is truly the best GED course, not only price-wise but also because it's very effective. The support is personal, and there are a lot of perks.
