Based on usage insights, survey data, and other sources, Instagram has released its 2023 Trends Report, which aims to highlight the top, increasing trends for the upcoming year among Gen Z users.

Although I'm not certain about the process, according to Instagram:

Our research, which is presented in this report, started with a straightforward inquiry about encapsulating 2023 in one word. The main character energy, healing, and energising were our top selections.

Yeah. Okay.

The primary body of the 22-page paper, which you can download here, examines five important trend areas:

Recycle, Reuse, Reconstruct:

Alternate Views on the Metaverse's

Climate and Expressive Beauty

THE FINANCIAL REVOLUTION

Each trend has a page of its own, as well as an associated emoji:

The summaries offer some fascinating notes that could be useful for your planning.

From a marketing standpoint, some of the important data points given are as follows:

More Gen Zers will use their money to support causes and communities in 2023.

In 2023, more than half of Gen Z social media users anticipate finding beauty or fashion inspiration from digital avatars or influencers.

2 out of 3 Gen Z consumers want to purchase skincare or beauty items that offer sun and extreme weather protection.

In 2023, more than half of Gen Z respondents stated they will make their own garments.

Although I'd be ready to wager on more than half of Gen Z actually producing their own outfits, the emergence of virtual influencers and digital avatars appears set to become even more engrained next year (another note suggests that thrift shopping will increase, which I can see as a more likely alternative)

The report also examines trends for creators. According to Instagram, over two thirds of Gen Z users intend to utilise social media for business purposes in 2023.

It's fascinating to note that a sizable portion of respondents want to profit from their social media posts, especially given that Instagram has been pushing to offer additional alternatives in this area. This raises questions about the survey's target population, but it also suggests that in 2023, a lot more people will be looking for ways to make money using social media apps.

Look, the report itself gives off the distinct impression that it was written by individuals who, while claiming to be knowledgeable about current events, are probably not. Of course, that doesn't make the statistics and insights provided worthless, but I'm not convinced the report summary is as useful as it could be.

I may just be out of the loop, but I didn't find the summary to be as interesting as I thought it may have been. You can download it and take a look at it for yourself, though, in case I missed something.

There are numerous justifications for using an Instagram followers hack. First of all, it can assist you in gaining a significant number of followers quickly and in a short period of time. This can be particularly helpful if you're new to Instagram and don't currently have a sizable following.

Pop culture writer Darian Symoné Harvin will also be speaking with Gen Z trendsetters about their predictions for the coming year to go along with the story. These interview snippets can be seen here.

You can reach a wider audience by using a hack. If you're attempting to advertise a good or service, this can be extremely useful. The likelihood that more people will notice your posts increases with the number of followers you have.

You can also monetize your account, offer goods or services, work as an influencer, produce sponsored content, or earn money using Instagram.

Last but not least, adopting an Instagram follower trick might help you increase brand exposure. This could aid in increasing your customer base and revenue.
