To open the Instagram app and log in to your account, you need to take the following steps:

Locate the Instagram app on your mobile device (iOS or Android).

Tap on the app icon to open it.

If you are already logged in, you will see your Instagram home feed. If you are not logged in, you will be prompted to log in with your account credentials (username and password).

Enter your username and password in the appropriate fields and tap "Log In."

If you have enabled two-factor authentication for your account, you may be prompted to enter a code sent to your phone or email.

Once you are logged in, you will be taken to your Instagram home feed.

Now that you are logged in, you can proceed with the steps to add people to your following list.

To search for the person you want to follow on Instagram, follow these steps:

On the bottom navigation bar of the Instagram app, tap the magnifying glass icon (the "Explore" page).

The search bar is located at the top of the screen.

Type in the name or username of the person you want to follow in the search bar.

As you type, you will see a list of suggestions appear below the search bar. You can tap on any of the suggestions or continue typing the full name or username.

Once you've found the person you want to follow, tap on their profile to view it.

Once you have accessed the profile of the person you want to follow, you can proceed to the next step, which is to tap the "Follow" button.

When you have located the profile of the person you want to follow using the search bar on Instagram, you can tap on their profile to view it. Here's what to do:

Locate the profile of the person you want to follow by searching for them using the search bar as described in my previous answer.

Once you've found their profile, tap on it to access their profile page.

On the person's profile page, you can view their profile picture, posts, stories, and information about them.

You can also see their followers, the people they follow, and other information about their account.

Once you have accessed the person's profile, you can proceed to the next step, which is to tap the "Follow" button.

To follow someone on Instagram, you need to tap the "Follow" button located next to their name and profile picture. Here's what you need to do:

Access their profile by tapping on their profile picture or name as described in previous answers.

On the person's profile page, you will see their profile picture and name at the top of the screen.

To the right of their name, you will see a blue "Follow" button.

Once you have tapped the "Follow" button, you will become a follower of the person and their posts will appear in your feed. You will also be able to see their stories. If the person is private, they will need to approve your follow request before you can see their posts and stories.
