Cataract
Cataracts are a common eye problem that mostly affects older people, but they can happen to anyone at any age. They happen when the eye's usually clear lens gets cloudy or opaque, making it hard to see. Cataracts usually come on slowly and get worse over time, making it harder and harder to see.
Glaucoma
Glaucoma slowly damages the optic nerve. If left unchecked, this can cause vision loss and even blindness. Intraocular pressure (IOP), an increase in pressure inside the eye, is often a sign of it. This can damage the delicate fibers of the optic nerve, which sends vision information to the brain.
Ayurveda treatment for glaucoma may include approaches that may be beneficial as complementary measures for managing the disease.
Diabetic retinopathy
Diabetic retinopathy is an eye disease that affects the light-sensitive tissue at the back of the eye. It is caused by diabetes. It happens when high blood sugar levels in people with diabetes last for a long time and damage the blood vessels that feed the retina.
Age-related macular degeneration
Age-related macular degeneration (AMD) is a progressive eye disease that affects the macula, the central part of the retina responsible for clear, detailed central vision. AMD is more common in older people and is one of the main reasons people over 50 lose sight.
Retinal detachment.
When there is fluid under the retina, this is called a retinal detachment. This generally happens when fluid leaks through a tear in the retina, pulling the retina away from the layers of tissue underneath.
Conjunctivitis(Pink eye)
Pink eye happens when the eyelid and lens's clear membrane gets inflamed. When tiny blood vessels in the eyes get swollen and red, they are more visible. Because of this, the whites of the eyes look red or pink.
It usually happens to people between the ages of 20 and 30.
Keratoconus
Keratoconus is an eye disease in which your cornea, which is the clear, dome-shaped front of your eye, gets thinner and gradually bulges outward into a cone shape.
Retinitis pigmentosa
Retinitis pigmentosa is a degenerative disease. It slowly hurts the retina and makes it hard to see at night and on the sides.
Blepharitis
is an infection of the eyelids. Blepharitis normally affects the edges of both eyelids on both eyes.
Blepharitis usually happens when the tiny oil glands near the eyelashes' base get stopped, causing irritation and redness. A number of diseases and illnesses can cause it.

Netra Tarpana is a special treatment in which medicated ghee or oils are put into a well made out of dough around the eyes and left there for a while.
Netra Basti: In Netra Basti, warm medicated oils are put into a reservoir made of dough that is placed around the eyes. This treatment helps relieve eye pain, improve circulation, and reduce swelling.
Anjana (Collyrium)
Anjana is a medicated paste put on the inner part of the eyes. It is used to protect the eyes and keep the eyes healthy and good at seeing.

With regular Nasya treatments, individuals can experience relief from various eye ailments, including dry eyes, conjunctivitis, and even certain degenerative conditions.
