Education is essential because it is the foundation of success. A good education is of need to be successful in life, and one cannot make it without acquiring some degree—a high school diploma, GED, or college degree. Getting a degree is not impossible; one must stay encouraged, never give up, and reach for the stars. You must take passion and purpose in the step of getting an education.

It would help if you motivated yourself. Let the successful people surrounding you be a daily motivation. You, too, can be what they are—successful. Go back to school, complete what you started, and finish strong. Many may think, “why should I care about my education?” The answer to this question is simple; one should care because it is the key to having the things of want in life. Education opens doors and provides unlimited opportunities for growth and earning potential.

As adults, we should teach our children and other kids to stay in school. Education is their foundation for a prosperous future of success. If you are a parent and your child is struggling, there are numerous ways to help. For those parents with free time who are great at teaching, assist your child or someone else’s with school from home. Allowing them to work at their pace will be helpful to you and the child. They will benefit from your extra love, dedication, and determination. All some children need is time—the time to learn and process everything. Many children are smarter than you think.

Regarding Adult Education, do not be ashamed of your past. If you drop out of school, it is never too late to return—you are worth more than ever. Go back to school and finish what you have started. Be the difference in your life and those around you. Do not let age, guilt, or shame hinder you from receiving what is due to you. Everyone must know their worth and that they are worthy of the most significant success they can earn.

Aside from local schools, there are quite a few online schools both children and adults can attend. A school such as Liberty University has programs to earn a college degree and online programs for kids in grades K-12. This university is a work-at-your-pace school that provides excellent understanding and support. Both you and your child can obtain an education at the same time. Besides Liberty University, a great homeschool for kids is K12, a Stride, Inc company. This school is a free public school with fantastic educational tools for children. If your child is struggling, some great teachers there are willing to go the extra mile to help your child succeed; they will be with you every step of the way. If not K12, The Keystone School is another accredited school offering K-12 programs and education for adults. This school is a work-at-your-pace school and costs a certain amount, as well as Liberty University. Regardless of what accredited school you choose, you can earn an education.

Above all, believe in yourself; you are greater than you think. Never give up on your dreams and goals—you are a star that has the potential to shine brightly. It does not matter what others say about you; know your worth. Finish high school or return to school to obtain your GED, and go to college and get a degree. Go as far as you can in life and be as big as you can be because greatness is your destiny.

Make a promise that you will be better than what you and others see and believe. Say, “I will be unstoppable in obtaining a good education. I am too smart to sit on knowledge and not get what I desire.” Remind yourself, “What people think of me is not who I am. I will show them the better I am made of because they do not determine my path and future.” Know your value; You are golden—today, tomorrow, and forever more.
