Flying risk.

I always wanted to fly and what isn’t any better than chancing freedom to peace. Being out of your comfort zone and out into the wilderness and drop Draco off where his real life was at in the Freedom of Africa.

It was the October of 1989 and the kidnapping of the baby Gorillas was worldwide and they just seemed to vanish into thin air. Then there was Bornfree a Charity to rescue wild animals that had been captured and stolen to sell to the Circus in London; one that we could never seem to get the right to extract a wild animal unless they were in danger. Well no they were not in danger they were broken and manipulated into submission by cruel behaviour by their keeper, but not the owner, it was a complicated process and heartbreaking situation, to feel helpless in the cruelty to the Law.

It wasn’t until 2020 all wild animals are to be reunited with their home, free in the nature the Gorillas were intended for which was part of the Jungle. Who were we to decide that we would just take control over nature and cage wild animals up.

We had operation 22 in order to permit to the High Court Commission and Judges to read the 100,000 signatures. It was a week in court again the protesters for animals in Zoos and Circuses were again overruled, I almost dropped to my knees, six months putting the case together and again they find a technicality in defy animal cruelty. We could not catagorically prove cruelty in visual evidence.

It was a long , painful journey back on the flight, always seemed empty when we returned to the forest empty of a captive Gorilla in a Circus as entertainment for human pleasure. Russia and Germany had them in a Circus, until it became unpopular as human consumption for laughter In cruelty was diminishing, this is when we knew we needed to attack back while they were at their weakest. We stalked the Circus in a location where we knew that the Guard and animal inspectors would stay. We heard along the grapevine of mistreatment and the reports were coming in thick and more prolific. We took photos day and night and then one day out of the blue the animal inspector began whipping a Gorilla and shoving a rifle up its nose. Flicking cigarettes at them and under weight due to the Gorilla became Depressed, lethargic and just accepting the reality that the torture would just end or the animal would get out of control and shot to death with a lethal force of morphine, tranqualize. We managed to get the photos we needed as proof of cruelty. Johnathan worked a solid ten days surveillance the Circus and sneaking into the complex as a animal feeder’. The Circus chased him down and took one camera from him but Johnathan being athletically fit managed to outrun the Wardens, it was pretty dangerous you never know how dangerous stalking killers can be.

We had all the visual evidence that the High Court needed to prosecute. It was so emotional that Jenny couldn’t come into the office to find the defamation charge. The whole of the Daily Mail was covering the story, it was a an outright unanimous vote. Champagne flowed everywhere. I started in the airplane on test flights as though we were carrying Draco and it was euphoric, the clouds looked whiter the skies blue and the sun full force everything was just like a rainbow, all the colours of a beautiful sky .

It was on the 26,Aug, 2021 and EU and UN ruled the ban on wild animals of this nature in a circus or any environment other than its birth country. On the 26 ,sept,221 I flew with Draco , you got to see the skies it was quite dark and Draco was transported and tranqilized to the Cargo Terminal 22 and we we’re flying to freedom and a chance to multiply before becoming extinct. It was a breezy and turbulent flight and a risky journey for Draco, I held his hand and passed him a teddy bear my daughter Jessica wanted him to have and fly with, it actually did act as a soother. When we landed finally I wanted him to be able to see the behind of the human world and get back in the Forest and it was indescribable the Love and Gratitude that Draco gave, I stood and cried, I sobbed as I saw the back him descending into the Jungle and it was time to get back on flight 22 .
