ARE CHANGES CONSIDERED TO BE EVOLUTION ALWAYS?

Is evolution beneficial or harmful?

By CatalinutPublished 2 years ago 3 min read

Evolution is viewed as a change, but is a change truly an evolution? This is a concept I have been debating my entire life.

I thus began with the idea of change. Some changes result in betterment, but there are other changes that have no beneficial effects. When does anything go backwards? The regression, the non-evolving condition, has indeed undergone alterations.

Whereas I came to the conclusion that change for the better is termed evolution, and change for the worst is dubbed regression, degradation, etc.

Does this imply that anything evolves when it undergoes change? Maybe assuming what I said before, but without a doubt that anything that has altered with time.

One contributes to the other's development, but as thinking creatures like humans, we are always undergoing change in all facets of our lives. Changes to our bodies affect our organism, while changes to our minds affect our personalities, which in turn affect our character, and more.

It might address a variety of changes that occur in an individual, but does experiencing a change indicate that we have advanced? Or do these modifications occasionally cause regression instead of evolution?

The question is: Has this individual changed over time if they were charming and then experienced anything that made them introverted?

Or is it possible to distinguish between positive and negative evolution? When something or someone improves, this is called positive evolution. Conversely, when something or someone regresses, or changes from a good condition to a poor one, this is called negative evolution.

And this entire idea prompts even another question: How is evolution relative? When something evolves, some people may be pleased and some people may be disappointed. For instance, when Apple launched the iPhone 12, many people were happy because they were anticipating the device's updates to its hardware and software, but it disappointed others who lacked the financial means to purchase the device. This is just one example; the iPhone 12 launch was an evolution, but it was relative to the same consumer audience.

The paradoxical nature of evolution is what inspired me to write about it and show you all how fascinating it is to view it from this angle.

Adversity can come to someone who is resilient and unyielding, leaving them gloomy and unable to struggle to attain their goals. While this individual has undoubtedly altered the world, I don't think it constitutes growth.

And if someone only ever does good and people only ever treat him badly, I can tell you that person has changed but has not matured as a human until the day they decide to repay evil with evil.

The development of a person's character must occur when their experiences do not leave them worse off or in a static condition; rather, it must occur when they grow stronger and more resilient to life's challenges.

Since I only discussed the human personality and the character changes brought on by life events, which are frequently good and occasionally bad, and not all of us are capable of dealing with these facts, I must sincerely admit that I limited myself enough in this story to leave its continuity with you.

What are your thoughts on this? I could give additional instances involving a person's private life, but I'll leave that up to you readers.

Thank you for reading this article, I hope you had a good time and enjoyed it. If you liked it, I invite you to read the other articles on my account, they are just as interesting and totally different.
