I love this article! I know that as a child I was given a BIG book about animals. All it had was beautiful pictures of them, and facts about where they live, eat, if they were endangered. It also had images of the trash in the ocean and burnt down forests and explained what impact humans were having on the animals and their lives and populations. It was the beautiful photographs of the big lions, tigers, fish, and colorful birds that ignited my passion for animals, and was one of the first stepping stones for me into living the life I live with rescuing and donating time to conservation, making me an avid recycler and gardener and homesteader. Wildlife photography, particularly the ones in my big book of animals was a key point in who I became and my love of the beauty of animals. Thank you for this article!!!
