Sadhguru, Yogi, Mystic and Indian Visionary

Sadhguru, a Yogi, Mystic and Indian visionary has launched his Conscious Planet Save Soil movement to address the current status of Soil worldwide.

Sadhguru has met with representatives of the United Nations, World Economic Forum, FAO and many world leaders to find common ground to revitalize Soil across all nations.

On February 13, he met with Save Soil's Earth Buddies to discuss the next steps to take the word across countries that Soil will deplete in the next 40-50 years as announced by the United Nations and other economic organizations.

Soil is an amalgamation of different layers that if seen from top soil down it comprises billions of microbial life that help maintain the health of the Soil where we grow our foods by way of supporting the very important humus that sustains all plants.

When Soil is eroded, depleted, overused and in lack of these life making materials, we cant plant our crops and we cant harvest our food. There seems to be an endless amount of Soil left for agriculture, but such is not the accurate status of Soil. The Soil left in most of the land has become uncultivable and unproductive. By 2050 the world will see the biggest famine yet imagined as Soil would have completely turned into sand. In sand plants do not grow, harvest is out of the question. Soil turns into sand when the top layer of soil is depleted due to farming, equipment plowing, use of fertilizers, lack of crop rotations, overuse, and lack of regeneration.

The Soil where we grow our foods shall have at least 3% of organic matter where crops can grow. If this 3% is not present, the soil will not support plant growth then comes the need for the use of chemicals and other aggressive methods to maintain plant growth. The overuse of these methods to push agriculture has eroded the soil to where no nutrient content is left.

This is not a Soil picture to create yet another climate change movement. Save Soil is not a climate change effort. Save Soil is a movement to adopt Ecology as the basis for soil renewal and regeneration. Positive climate change will result from it as when the Soil is regenarated all life in the planet is regenerated. That is the meaning of a living Ecological system.

To have food in our tables today is ensured, but this food assurance will not be there for the next generation in just 4o years. Our grandchildren's generation.

Save Soil is an enlightened experience and a global effort to reverse the damage our generation has caused to Earth. Join the movement that will revolutionize the world. Join the movement to save the Soil we are.

To be immersed in One's individual Life and because we are part of other's lives is the common way for a society to build itself for the nurturing and safety of everyone. However, this link we have created to our personalities and with others has mutilated individual consciousness from flowering and from flourishing.

This personality we have created around our individuality has caused so much suffering as now we cant partake with those traits that do not make who we are but only who we have acquired to be. Not only we cant reveal our true self, but we are at conflict with all else around.

When we think only of ourselves and our needs and our individualistic existence, nothing else exists but us. All gets erased in the effort to keep up with who we think we are but are not. Even the people around that we think we Love are there subjective to our traits, needs, wants and desires.

To become selfless does not mean to become less of who you are. To become selfless means you have yielded to the rest of Life that exists and that supports you to become One.
