Myths are lost history

As we all know, technology has changed not only the quality of human life, the exceptionally sophisticated astronomical telescopes and breathtaking launch vehicles, not only allows humans to see the shocking scenery of tens of billions of light-years away, but also allows humans to get rid of the millions of years of bondage on Earth, to personally experience the immensity of the universe.

In admiration of the vastness and beauty of the universe at the same time, a puzzling question also emerged again: some corner of the universe, is also living in some kind of intelligent life?

In order to find the answer to this question, mankind has done everything possible. Several probes carrying human hopes have gone to deep space, and several messages containing human data have been sent to faraway places. In addition, countless radio telescopes around the world are listening with bated breath, trying to find traces in the vast sea of stars.

Sadly, decades of exploration have yielded only a few plausible signals, which is no proof that humans are not alone in the universe. Where the hell are they?

While searching the universe in vain, some people are refocusing their attention on Earth, on the so-called "fictional" myths.

There may be some surprising truths hidden in mythology

In modern logic, mythology is a form of folklore, a highly fanciful story created by ancient ancestors that reflects the relationship between man and nature, man and society. Simply put, they are made up.

Why are people so sure that myths are just fictional stories? Because real-life experience tells us that humans cannot have the extraordinary ability to turn stone into gold, to fly clouds and even to call the wind and rain.

Throughout the world's various periods and civilizations in the mythology, most of the "gods" are human appearance or physical size. Experts believe that this is a figurative representation of the ancestors' desire to be free from the constraints of nature, in other words, the ancestors' desire to have the ability to free themselves from the constraints of nature. But is this really the case?

Many people may not know that humans cannot imagine things that do not exist, just like the image of the monster in the movie, no matter how exaggerated and distorted, we can still find familiar features in its body, such as similar to beetles or similarities with the octopus as a wrist-footed creature, etc.

By the same token, in the ancient times when there was not enough to eat, not enough to wear and not enough to know about the world, the first people really imagined and could imagine the "gods" with extraordinary powers? If not, then where did these images of "gods" come from? Then there is only one possibility left - they had seen people with similar abilities.

Ordinary humans obviously can not have such extraordinary abilities, and even the creatures born on Earth can not have such abilities, then their identity is actually called out - the sky alien.

Myths may be lost history.

This absurd speculation may be difficult to accept, and some may even find it extremely absurd to confuse mythology with history. But if you really think myth is just myth, that can be a bit narrow-minded, because myth and history can sometimes be just a hair's breadth apart.

The Iliad is one of the classic works of Western literature, in which the ancient Greek poet Homer depicted the amazing war between the gods with not too flamboyant rhetoric.

Because the Iliad's descriptions are so exaggerated and horrific, people think it is just a myth made up by Homer, and the "gods" and places appearing in the book do not exist, but some people do not think so.

In 1868, amateur archaeologist Heinrich Schliemann disputed the stereotype of the Iliad, arguing that many of the descriptions in the book were not fictional, but real.

This view of his at the time caused an uproar, after all, people have long believed that myth is myth, history is history, the two simply can not be mixed up, but Schliemann broke this secular view, which is undoubtedly a challenge to the authority of the time, so he also conservative ridicule and ridicule.

Although no one was able to understand him, he still did not change his views, and he always believed that myths are often just a lost history. Relying on this belief, he traveled all over the Greek world with "The Iliad" and pushed the location of some cities mentioned in the book a little.

After a difficult and long search, the city of Troy, mentioned in the mythology, was unmasked in front of Schliemann. This discovery proves that the Battle of Troy was not a fictional myth, but a historical event that once actually happened and really existed.

It is true that the discovery of Troy did not rely on Schliemann's mere persistence, and that there are many clues pointing to this historical event, but this example always breaks through the confines of people's minds and shows that myths are sometimes more than just myths, and also allows people to think deeply about the secrets hidden in them.

Thinking Deeper About Myths

As speculated above, the so-called "gods" in mythology do not belong to the earth, they come from outside the earth, so what is their identity?

In his book "Chariots of the Gods", Erich von Deniken points out that mythology is not a fictional story, but a history that modern people find hard to believe, a record of ancient ancestors and intelligent alien life interacting with each other.

Many people may have noticed that the myths of various countries and regions have striking similarities or consistency in some aspects, such as the accounts of the extinction of the world, the Great Flood and so on.

It is important to know that mythology is mostly created in the low productivity of primitive society, although the earth's plate movement has stopped, but without the help of technological power, the ancient ancestors with legs or livestock to travel, there is no possibility of communication with each other, distance will limit them to a certain range.

What's more, even if they overcome the obstacle of distance, because of the different living habits and living environment, there simply will not appear highly similar stories.

So this raises a puzzling question, in the era of underdeveloped communication, why there is some kind of commonality in the stories from all over the world? Are there some amazing secrets hidden in this?

Overall, putting mythology and alien intelligent creatures together is only a slightly absurd speculation, not that this speculation is the truth, after all, the distant past has passed away, and the truth of the matter has long since been mercilessly drowned by the river of time, and what future generations see is nothing more than some plausible skin.
