This Imperfect Day
Sometimes It's Up To Us

Introduction
Today is the last day of August, the final Bank Holiday of the year, so today should be one of relaxation because tomorrow work may not be. Luckily, I work in a fix ot blame environment but I am dealing with accountancy stuff, and I am not an accountant. That is by the way.
The music is "This Perfect Day" by Australia's finest, The Saints.
So What Happened
I decided to visit a local record shop, Beyond Vinyl at The John Marley Centre:
I decided to take a circular route and do most of it by bus. When I got to the bus stop, I found that the bus (which runs every half hour) was due in ten minutes but was running 25 five minutes late, so I walked. I didn't want to, but it was Hobson's Choice.
I finally got there to find it was closed, which I half expected.
I then walked down to the next stop to catch a bus home. I checked the app and found the bus was going to be twenty-five minutes late (this was a different bus).
So I set off walking, and five minutes later, between stops, my bus passed me. It was five minutes late. The app had lied.
The lesson from this is that sometimes we still have options, even though they may not be perfect. I normally plan to walk three miles a day, but today, so far, I have walked five miles.
The thing is, I got home, and I am writing this.
The There's Vocal
And their refusal to deal with issues. On August 4th this year I sent this email about due Ambassador Payments and missing tips:

I got this auto-response, and then that's it. They tell us not to follow up. I have done it twice with Justin included in one response.

While I know Vocal have a small team often doing more than one job, they should not be ignoring issues. This is a situation where I am totally dependent on someone else, as I have no control over system problems.
Here is what you get if you press the Support button, i.e. no support at all

I know a lot of creators will tell me it's my fault and that Vocal are working hard, but they only seem to work hard for their favourite creators to make sure they get their Top Stories and Challenge rewards, while system issues are brushed aside.
Conclusion
I do know that if Justin sees this, he will make sure something is done, but this just never happens.
Thank you all for reading and for your support.
