Am I the only one who felt somehow both stifled and underwhelmed by this movie? I am a huge Christopher Nolan fan, but this one didn’t do it for me. Maybe it was the incredibly male-centric ethos, or the non-linear plot elements. Or maybe I just got overwhelmed by IMAX.

I've not watched this movie yet but I loved your review. It was very honest!

  • We just saw it yesterday & were blown away by the performances. It was a very patriarchal time (I was happy to see him standing up for the one woman on the team). My wife & I both agree that if Robert Downey, Jr. doesn't win an academy award for this performance, there is no justice.

I reviewed Oppenheimer, too! You are not alone. It is an interesting story, I didn't feel the film fully did it justice.
