What to do and not to do during a pandemic. 'flamingo flockdown' is a children's picture book by Rebecca Tyson and Plus 3K Studios for the artwork. This is the story of a group of flamingo friends starting with Maria and Mo and how they wondered about a virus that is going around. They all learn about various things that they have to do to safe and healthy even though they will learn to work through other objectives as well.

Teachers or really again any helping professional could use this picture book in an early childhood program could read this picture book for health lessons on how to stay healthy physically and mentally. They can also use the book to teach various phrases and words that go along with pandemic life such as 'social distancing', 'pandemic', 'lockdown'. I liked the alliteration that Rebecca used in the title 'flamingo flockdown' as a play on words. This is a picture book that teaches all the importance of staying safe. Rebecca and Plus 3K Studio depicted well what a lockdown was like and teachers could still even today teach proper handwashing and other safety rules and define 'vaccine'.
