Creepy lyrics of the 60s, 70s & 80s
Love poetry of yesteryear that would cause most targets of affection to rush for the exit today

Every step you take, I'll be watching you.
No matter how they toss the dice, it had to be.
The only one for me is you, and you for me.
Too good to be true.
Can't take my eyes off of you.
Oh, Can't you see? You belong to me.

LOL, I’ve often thought how so much of what we loved a few decades ago would get the artist “cancelled” today. The lyrics certainly glamorize unhealthy infatuation, but… we’ve all experienced that before, right? I think we have to, so that we learn what love truly is through the contrast of what it’s not. Still, this is very funny and well done.
This reminded me of Taylor Swift's song, You Belong With Me!
Possessive stalkers basically. Now that is real love. Great job!
One day, while listening to an oldies playlist I started paying attention to the lyrics of Happy Together by the Turtles, and found them very odd. Searching online apparently a lot of other people do too, and they mentioned Every Breathe you Take and Can't Take My Eyes Off Of You, as songs with very bad examples of things anyone should say to someone else in real life. Wanted to make a humor post out of this, in 50 words was a tough challenge.
